A simple question about AVG free

I have been using AVG free edition for a year or so and I've had no problems that I know of but I still am unsure how to rid the virus vault of five files it has in it that take up 20% of the volume. It has a couple of trojan horses and a couple of viruses identified in there.

How do I get rid of them? Should I just leave them alone or should I "wipe" , "heal" or "restore" the objects? I'm assuming wipe but I'm not sure what I should do with them.

They've been in there since last year but I thought I'd ask some people who know more about it.

Thanks, Neal
