Yes, I just finished up my bathroom remodel with Oceanside glass (approx 1/2" x 1" tiles in a brick-like pattern). The tile store said their tilesetters will run a thin bead of superglue over the cut line (before cutting) to keep the edges from splintering and appearing ragged. I just cut the glass on my wetsaw and had no problem with the edges. they cut and look fine. The only problem I had is that the backing gets wet during the cut and the paper wants to come off (then the tiles fall apart) so if you cut on a wet saw you need to take the sheet off the saw after cutting and not touch it again until the paper backing dries.

I used a product called Clean Shower and I don't squeegee, and I clean my shower maybe once a year. No mold, no mildew, no hard water deposits. It works for me. Spray and don't rinse. If you'd like you can Google it and read about how it works, and how the guy invented it. I've used it for about 10 years, with no hard water marks on my glass or ceramic tiles. Not for use on natural stone, but I can attest that it works for ceramic or porcelain). I realize that I sound like a commercial but I've been here on GW for a long time, and that is not my intent. This stuff works. There will be a film it leaves on the glass so it will not be crystal clear, but the water sheets off, and the shower dries quickly. Perhaps someone will give me a reason NOT to like it. It prevents the hard water from leaving deposits, and we have hard water. It is safe to use on treated surfaces. I made sure of that before our new shower was installed with Cardinal glass. It has Cardinal 10 protectant, (because that is what the designer spec'd) but it worked very well on our old 15 yr old un-protected framed glass. It also kept mildew from forming on the unsealed grout. I am married to a Marine (grunt) who doesn't squeegee or wipe after using the shower. This works for me. -Babka

I haven't used glass mosaic tile from The Tile Shop, but I did buy porcelain tile (that is supposed to look like marble) from them and didn't have any issues. I mixed in and ordered my glass mosaic tile from Overstock... No issues and looks great after a year and a half. I'm sure you'll be fine buying from The Tile Shop. Oh, and my shower floor and bathroom floor came from Lowes and no issues there either... But I wouldn't hesitate to buy from The Tile Shop.. Not unless you can find something similar for less. Believe me, I saw lots of glass tile that I loved at The Tile Shop, but couldn't fork over $25 a sq foot, so I found what I needed on Overstock for about $10-$12. Good Luck

We are swooning over the ceramic "encaustic" tile but are hesitant on putting this as shower flooring. For some reason, Lowes and the Della torre site does not have shower floors listed as suggested areas of install. However, there are PORCELAIN "encaustic" tiles that they make and shower floors are listed for those tiles. Has anyone had any issues with this Cementina in their shower floors?
