Am I overreacting to lack of detail in architect's plan?

Can anybody who used an architect to design their house give me some idea as to the level of detail the plans included? I have just received what are purported to be the final architectural drawings for our house and am really frustrated. There are no suggestions regarding door styles, door and window trims, or base or crown mouldings. There are no cabinets, bookshelves, or built-ins drawn.

He has noted on one sheet, "millwork not included in contract," despite the fact that he drew up the contract and it most definitely does not have an exclusion for millwork or cabinetry. Rather, it clearly states that cabinetry will be included. We have multiple fireplaces and there are no drawings of mantels or surrounds. I thought these sorts of details were one of the reasons for hiring an architect to begin with. Are my expectations seriously out of line? I saw more details in the commercial house plans I looked at before giving up and hiring the architect.
