Font very tiny when printing webpages.

I've had a Brother Laser printer HL 5140 for a couple of years and it works great. Today when I printed out my bank statement and also when I printed out an article from another website, the font is very very tiny; unreadable. Word documents print just fine.

Any thoughts or should I just call Brother in the morning?

I just printed the "Windows XP Printer Test Page" and it looks fine.

At the left Top - File - Print Preview - Scale -
Select 100 percent or what you want - Print.

Your suggestion worked when I went to the webpage. I find it interesting that I never had to do that before. Makes me wonder if I got a virus or something that changed the setting. When I went to my bank's webpage, it too printed out ok. That was either just timing or perhaps the setting change I made for the other page carried over to this.

Thanks. I'll remember your tip but as I said, why did this happen in the first place??

Here are some settings to check to be sure the comp is set up for your monitor: Rt click desktop, then properties, then settings tab (be sure the screen resolution is set to your monitor's native resolution, found in the literature which came with it), color should be set to highest 32 bit, then click the advanced button at the bottom, click on the monitor tab (be sure you monitor is listed correctly), then click the properties button and make sure your video card is listed properly. If all is well, then you know it's not the hardware settings. If something is wrong and you can't fix it, let us know and we can help some more.

I thought at first you had the answer- it changed it on the computer screen, but not when I printed it... :( I have a HP Mini- I believe I have Word Pad and Notepad only. If I am wrong and am overlooking because I don't know the name of a program, please correct me. Thanks.

No, no FKB problems. But, I think I know what your problem may be since I occasionally had this problem until I figured it out! Be sure your browser window is wide enough to fit the kitchen that's currently being displayed. Try expanding your browser window so it's wider....that should bring the kitchen to the top. BTW...the font issue others are talking about...have not experience this at all in either version of Firefox that I'm using.... I do have AdBlock Plus on both machines and I did update it, at least on my home machine (3.0.11) recently...sometime this past weekend. I don't remember updating my work machine yet (3.0.12).

The print on my screen just went super tiny!

Did you accidentally zoom out? Happens if you hold CTRL and then scroll down on your mouse...if you are using Windows. The way to correct it would be to hold CTRL and then scroll up on your mouse. Other than that, I'm not sure what would shrink your font.

worry about small changes. I just keep my protection updated
and I have a way to restore my pc if needed using Acronis True Image.
