I'd have to cover the whole thing in clear plastic - I can just see my family members dumping cranberries and other lovely colored food bits on it - it's gorgeous - I wouldn't use a runner. Maybe you could pick up that pinky shade for the rest of the decor?

Beautiful table cloth, I don't think I would use a runner either...let the central design on the cloth show for itself, because it already makes a statement on its own.

Absolutely gorgeous - I would not use a runner - I'd bring in some cranberry stemmed glasses and fresh greens to make it look Christmassy....I think it is a fabulous tablecloth.

Gorgeous tablecloth -- and no runner!

BUT lots of silver, white and pink (and possibly a counterpoint with some deep burgandy items in the arrangement) -- with a long and low table centerpiece and small white votives at each place.

I found the tablecloth on ebay and it had a buy it now price. I had sent the seller an email because I had a question about the cloth, and while I was waiting to hear back from her...someone bought it right out from under my nose. Drat it! I'm so mad at myself for not going ahead and buying it.

Now, to start all over again trying to plan the tablesetting...

dreamgoddess, sorry you didn't get the tablecloth, I have missed out several times also by hesitating too long but hopefully you will find another one. I really like the look of the floor length cloths for special occasions.

Beautiful! I love pink! My mom covers her dining room tablecloth with a plastic lace-patterned cover. Looks good, not at all tacky. I usually spill something every time I sit down to dinner, teehee! And there are nine grandkids, tho most of them are teens or older.
