I have been able to keep the activated charcoal working by gently crushing the larger chunks to expose additional surface area. I suppose it could stop working at some point but I just keep adding fresh and it keeps on working. I did have a problem when I tried putting it in nylon stockings. I removed it when it was not doing it's thing after a week and discovered the AC was dry! Guess I will use cotton bags or the pond planting pots with the perforated sides as I have done before. I am surprised you could not find the AC at Lowes. They always have it here in the house plant department. Sandy

It just means that there are 9 invalid active x control paths in your registry that point to nowhere. Probably next time you use Internet Explorer they are added again since IE uses Active X. No big deal, any registry cleaner will find invalid active x paths everytime you clean the registry.

IE menu -> Tools -> Manage Addons ->enable or disable addons IE menu -> Tools -> internet options -> security -> custom level -> Download signed activeX controls ->prompt (recommended) and Run activeX controls and plugins -> enable

When you talk about deleting Active X, do you really mean disable it in Internet Explorer? Active X is a set of helper programs that make things work together better on your PC, but they also affect security. You can go into your settings in the Tools / Internet Options tab of Internet Explorer and make changes to the settings. But there are trade-offs, and the more you disable Active X, the more annoying it may become to surf the Internet. You don't say what version of IE you are using, but there is some helpful info in the link below that will give you some ideas. When you get the message "Internet Explorer is not responding" what you usually do is close it and reopen it. Or, you could use a browser like Firefox that may have fewer problems.
