if you want help from us then and then won't do what tasks are asked then there is no way we can help you. WE could send you to one of the support forums specific for clean up but you must run the scans and tasks that are asked for us to see what is on the machine if we don't know then there is no way to help clean it. If zep is asking you to run something you can rest assured it is NOT something to hurt you it is to see what you have lurking on the pc. There is a difference between antivirus programs and all the other things you mentioned. You can only have one Antivirus program running at a time you have MSE that is fine. You can have several other anti malware programs on the pc because they do not run till you start them up and run a scan you only do one at a time. Malwarebytes is great be sure you update it prior to running the full scan weekly, another is superantispyware also update prior to running full scan. The other thing you should have is spywareblaster you just open it weekly and hit the update button then hit enable all protection so the shield turns green that is it it sits there and does it's thing. I would also suggest putting WOT on your browsers so you are warned if a site has a bad reputation or is dangerous. Use this tool regularly to check for updates to other things on your pc , the majority of infections today are happening because of not updating your flash, java, adobe etc programs they must be updated and so must windows so do all those updates. My contractor responded to my question to him about why the heat pump quote was so much higher than the non-heat pump quote...He didn't really answer it, but he has revised it to include the Infinity furnace (variable I think) along with the Infinity heat pump-a/c. My total payment after rebates is about 13,500. This includes the system below, 50 gal powervent hwh, 950 sq feet of r-19 blown in fiberglass and air sealing gaps in attic and as needed elsewhere. I have no idea what a reasonable price for this Infinity system is. I know the hwh and insulation are a little high, but not crazy. Any ideas what this hvac alone should cost? He doesn't list Infinity control but maybe that's an oversight as one of the units (a/c?) seems to require it. I would ask for it to be included in the price. Wait, you agree that "those that use their cell phones while driving are risking the lives of many people" but you say you will answer the phone when your family calls? I don't really understand this. I get that sometimes there are emergencies but those are very rare. The problem is when everyone gets to create their own set of exceptions to when it's okay to use the phone that we get into trouble in society as everyone has different risk thresholds they are willing to take. Unfortunately it's usually the innocent ones who aren't doing anything who have to pay for those exceptions and choices, far too often with their lives. It's a good idea to pull over if you must take a call. If I need to take or make a call I usually go into a parking lot, or will pull over depending where I am. I do see far fewer people on their phones while driving compared to a few years ago though so hopefully people are realizing how dangerous it is. In my area they are really cracking down on it though. I was pulled over for glancing down at my GPS once, and the officer asked to check my phone to look for texting or calls. He let me go when there was nothing recent on it but I imagine they catch a lot of people and it's not a cheap ticket.
