This has been a really spectacular read. I'm an environmental consultant in MA. Wetlands work, water quality studies, some rare species studies, various and sundry permitting issues, etc. I have a house in Boston with a postage-stamp-sized back yard that I am forever trying to squeeze as much produce out of as possible. I do get enough to have a giant harvest party every year, with homemade sauce for 30-35 people plus plenty left over for us in the later months. Good times. I discovered GardenWeb forums maybe two months ago and I feel like I've already doubled my knowledge. I'm so psyched to put some of these ideas into practice and see how things go. I was really planning on going to bed, but Owbist's uncovering of my not really "lost post" prodded me into action! :) I just powered up my XP machine and discovered that MSE was no longer turned off! It downloaded the latest updates and I'm thrilled to see it working again. Bob, I never entertained the thought of removing MSE from this pc since I use it sparingly. When I checked the Add/Remove Programs on my desktop, it is there. Thanks, Owbist, for your suggestion to use Teamviewer. That would be perfect, but my sister is not able to use the computer. Mikie, I'll check for the version of MSE when I return to my sister's. If it's still turned off and refuses to update, I will do the manual uninstall and reinstall it. I greatly appreciate your helpful responses. :)

Got the dreaded "No Power Cell 2" message (yes, it says "2" as well, vice NO Power Cell". Had Pinch a Penny check my under warranty T-CELL-15 - said it passed. Looked at several forums and found this one. Checked my fuses, appear ok - not broken/blown. Wish that was the case however. Notice Amazon sells a PCB board for 350 or so. Before ordering and doing this myself, I noticed a link for navyvet about the circular "fuse" for lack on a better term, specifically the Digi key pn# 570-1062-ND. Will need to take my board off to see if I can find burn marks, then try my hand at soldering (or call a friend). Anyone successful with the soldering, then have issues later on? Don't want to spend money on a new Circuit Board if I can prevent it, but don't really want to repeat the soldering work constantly. Any feedback is appreciated. I'm a newbie at the forum, so if the question has been asked, shoot me the link. Also, anyone else have issues going to www.nopowercell.com? sees down for me. Mine is not the TSI (from what I can tell) No led read-out. based on other stuff I have read, sounds like the Minmax was a poor choice. Ours would not ignite...so the tech installed a new ignitor. Now it fires up, runs for a few seconds, the flame goes out, it ignites, runs, goes out, etc. It will do this indefinitely. From the led lights that are on or off, the manual says it is a thermal fuse circuit...but of course, I can't find the circuit in the manual...I did find what appears to be a fuse. it is covered in black rubber...is this what I need to replace. any help would be great. I'll change tech's if it is something beyond me...I don't think he really knew what the issue is.
