It would be great to hear what bathroom faucets people have chosen. Photos of your bathroom and any comments would be great!

Price Pfister Kenzo collection, the shorter model. It is a single hole single handle, and it is lovely.
Easy to wash hands without splashing.

Our bath is not complete, but at least the sink is usable.

The little sink plunger is called the pop up. I haven't seen the ones that aren't connected. That sounds like a newer system -- no idea. Danze and Brizo are fairly high end brands though Brizo is fancy Delta I believe. It's most helpful for suggestions if someone posts photos. Vanities are generally 36" high. So, if the med cabinet is a tall one, it needs to clear 36 plus the height of the faucet, plus say 2 inches. With a 48" vanity and a single sink, I wouldn't want a tiny faucet. If you get a modern style with a top lever that ads to the height. A bridge faucet or separate hot/cold spouts should be lower. I'm planning a budget powder room expansion to add a shower to our first floor. I made sure I went to the showroom and handled the shower fixtures. I would do the same with sink faucets. The heavier the better (more brass). There aren't so many complaints about bath faucets. Most have ceramic cartridges which can break but are easy to replace. Warrantys vary so I'd read the fine print. Also, some manufacturers, like Rohl, have tiers of product. I happen to have Rohl/Perrin & Rowe nickel faucets & shower in our master. Those have been excellent and 0 issues in 12 years. They still look new. I love the color of the nickel but would likely not get it again as it needs to be polished up periodically.

We aren't doing a full remodel so the tub and shower plumbing isn't being changed. That is chrome. I love the shower head and afraid new ones wouldn't provide as good a shower. Lighting is already purchased and that is brushed nickel. The sink faucet, accessories, and vanity hardware will be replaced. Also a quartz top (Viatera Minuet or similar) and new sink. I thought chrome for faucets is a more durable finish. So right now if I go brushed nickel with everything new, the tub shower will still be chrome. The other thought was just plumbing in chrome and all else brushed nickel. Those are the 2 options I am thinking but open to more ideas and feedback on these. Thanks.

"....above a garage." Says it all. I would guess the structure isn't ready for something heavy like tile or stone or concrete. The effort to get those products in there = 1-2 inch FLOOR RAISE to get the stiffness + the stone on top. That is a BIG toe stubber. Vinyl = man made PVC (polyvinyl chloride). All man made from the 40's (ish) Lino = natural products going on 150 years (linseed oil, cork, jute, wood dust, etc) Cork flooring is VASTLY different from crumbly cork boards (used at a desk to hold things to the wall). Cork glue down tiles are 4mm - 12mm thick and can last 100 years or more. In fact there are Cathedrals and churches in Portugal and Spain that have their cork floors for more than 100 years. The US Library of Congress received their cork flooring in the 1890's (just before they reopened at their 2nd/current location). It's still there. And cork is water proof. That's why the wine industry uses cork....because it keeps the liquid in the bottle. The bottles of Champagne found on the Titanic (yep...the stuff brought up to the surface once it had been found) were still 'sweet'. Which is to say NO salt water had entered the bottles despite the crushing depths.

We went with some we found at Costco because they were brush nickel with some chrome on them. So far, they've done great!

I have the Kohler Kelston in the brushed nickel! Don't have pictures here at work but with the white subway tile, dark brown vanity and misty carerra Caesarstone top it looks great.

In my new bathroom, I installed a Moen Kingsley high arch faucet in brushed nickel. I do not yet have any photos.

Cifial Techno (straight) in the guest bathroom and Cifial Techno 25 in the MB and in the hall bathroom (not yet, but soon!). Their faucets are very nice and very well-made and their prices are decent as well (compared to others we'd looked at).

In the master bath we have Delta Victorian in ORB. Our bathroom is not victorian by any means but it's the one DH liked the best. He was insisting on a faucet with a high arch so he can get his hands under easier.

I chose a Toto faucet after reading this page with faucet reviews and recommendations from a home builder. Lots of brands I had never heard of. This is model TL930DDL-CP.
