Ouch. I don't really like these kinds of post, the 'calling out'. Okay, now another 2 cents. As we have all been talking late/very late bloomers and Bloomingfield being mentioned several times would not seem unreasonable to me especially when one thinks about the perennials being talked about to match with the dayliles are late bloomers. Myself for example mention Illinois daylily farms often if I'm talking (well posting) with someone in my area. Who else but a local farm would have the daylilies one could be fairly certain would do very well and under around the same conditions and where you could get up close and view the daylilies rather than a color online photo which may or may not be accurate in hues? If you were to be suggesting I'm spamming for the business you are incorrect. If you took the time to see how long I have been a member here after you see me make the suggestion, you would be wasting your time. I have no idea who the poster you called out represents if anyone but themself and is trying to be helpful or has other intentions, but I really think reporting any abuse and/or questionable posting should be done through the owner of the forum boards. There was a big cat fight over on another board here where a poster called out another poster and it just causes hurt feelings. Not trying to tell you how to feel , you're entitled to your opinions, but what if you're wrong? Should say I reject Ain't She Pretty based on the fact you have mentioned it in several posts of late? Of course not. I'm here to see what other posters in my area are growing and how they are gardening. I'm here to droole over the beautiful photos everybody shares and to learn about things I did not know about hemerocallis and/or ideas to bring into my own garden. Don't get all hung-up on an odd little posting that you can not control. The season is too short to worry over such little things and for the big things, well, there is a forum owner around here somewhere where questionable topics and postings can be reviewed .

You obviously do not understand my question. I am using Outlook. Outlook informs you of the presence of a message by placing it in the In-box. In order to do anything with that message, including delete, you must 'click' on it. Once you click on it either left or right, you 'open' it and expose yourself to whatever risks are inherent therein. Maybe your system does not work that way, but mine does.

Here is what I do with spam that I get. I use Outlook Express, XP home, and Firefox. Without opening the email, right click on the email. Left click on the Properties at the bottom of the box. This will bring up a box with a Details tab at the top. Click on the Details tab. Highlight and copy the Internet headers for this Message. Click OK. Now go back to the offending email and click Forward. Enter the appropriate one or more of the address listed below. Either before or after the spam message, paste the Details you copied above. Send the email I do this to most of the spam I get, although I don't get a lot. There is no feedback from most of the addresses below, but it seems that after awhile the email of a similar type stops coming. Hope this help some. Also hope I have typed all the addresses correctly. So many good responses. I agree with so much already said. Vampiressrn comment that "I think there is a lot of gray area here" is very much to the point. If I tell a poster that I also have a bed in the corner, and I link to my blog photo, and the blog has an advertisement for smelling salts, one person might feel that it's a ploy for smelling salts sales, and one might just see it as a helpful link. Given that, I don't think most of us are patrolling for spam, or getting all up in it over posts with links or blog links. When other posters start labeling something as "spam" it usually is. And if I have a website called Redbazel and you click on it, that's on you. Doesn't mean my posting with the same screen name I've used for 10 years is spam. If I post that I HAVE a website, and you email me to ask about it, that is also on you. Doesn't mean I tried to dredge up hits to my website. Now, I'm glad that the votes thing got brought up. While I don't think anyone here had any bad motives when they asked for ugliest kitty votes, or pinkest cheek votes or dancing with penguin votes, I don't really think the decorating forum is the place for this. If you want to call your friends and solicit votes, I guess that's ok. But I really think that votes should also be based on real feelings. So if I click on the "Vote for MY recliner!!" thread and I find that Magnaverde's recliner is in a Glen plaid and I truly love some anonymous recliner in gray velvet, it's annoying to see all the votes go to MV just because he happens to be an outstanding GW poster instead of to the anon. owner of the very pretty gray velvet. It skews the voting process. If it's popularity votes you want, My vote is for MV. If we are Really voting for nice recliners, I'm going to check the box next to the velvet with the feather headrest and the built-in remote. Red **No blogs, so don't hunt for them!!
