Was the IP address of the IPad user different than yours?

If your account is marked private as other have mentioned above it is unlikely you will be accepted by many groups. Not certain if other groups can even see your account. I belong to at least two private groups that are only visible to members. Suggestions Easy way to find if your account is disabled is to attempt to make a comment on it. Like other sites there will be to the far right of your comment after you hit enter three little dots. If you click on them they will allow you to edit, delete, or change the audience from private to public. If you want others on a group to see your post's in this trial period you need to change your settings to public. Since one of my peony groups is multi-language I keep the translation on. Some things like translation you need to scroll down to see. Some sites like my Swedish one it does not work and I have to click on the word "translation" then "translate all comments". Your wording may be slightly different. Set it to "friends only" then do not accept any friend requests until you feel comfortable. Start slow by making comments and/or liking other peoples comments or posts. Since you are looking for Italian cooking you may find YouTube more comfortable just for seeing what is being prepared and reading the comments. Although I joined years ago I never setup the feature where I can comment so if you want to comment that would be an additional step.

I've only sold one thing on market place. That was a car and it went off with no problems. I've heard there are a few of scams going on with any of the sell/buy sites. I had one lady that was leary of me when I wanted to purchase her 2 matching 1950s twin headboards for a bedroom set i already had. I've been looking and these headboards were a perfect match. She lived an hour away in the next state and I had to convince her that i was legit. It was nice weather and a beautiful day for a drive anyway. A few years back there was this lady on local FB groups that would cry poverty wanting kids items posted for sale for free or way below asking. Stating her little kids really wanted the item and gave a big sob story. She didn't even live close to the area. If you didn't budge on the price she would set up a pick up date and time then ghost you, just because she was a jerk. The items were never intended for her kids. She had an ongoing garage sale every weekend selling the items she got for free or cheap. She was called out and was banded from the local groups.

What really struck me was the warmth of the first with color and fabric and softness and a more human proportion and cozy feel given the shape of the room. The other feels, yes refrigerator! It feels cold to me. I think I'd have to wear a sweater even on a summer's day. The noise and echoing would be awful, especially if you have quite a few people in there doing things...clattering dishes, cooking, watching TV, talking, etc. And physically colder trying to heat the volume in that space would be difficult. And as far as luxury, the former has it for me far more so than the latter. We have "open concept" in our kitchen/breakfast nook/family room area...though it's not a large space. It's large enough for entertaining as everyone hangs out in the kitchen anyway and this way there's room for everyone. It's cozy enough for just the 2 of us. Even at that it can get noisy when one is doing dishes or cooking and one is watching tv. DH uses wireless headphones in the a.m. so I don't have to listen to his station. It definitely is a shared space. We have lots of other "away" spaces in the house which we also make use of frequently. I'm not sure I could live with having the bulk of my home completely open though. Once rooms reach a certain proportion, they feel more public than private..
