error every time I boot my computer...Nero?

I get the following error message whenever I boot or reboot. I went to the website and it seems to have something to do with my Nero, and suggests a registry scan. I hesitate to do this but can't figure out how to get rid of this error...please help :o(

I googled NMindexStoreSVR.exe error and got lots of hits. It seems to be related to the Nero Scout program. If you disable the Scout program, it should go away.

disable all aspects of nero program in your start menu do not let it start at boot up it does not need to be starting at boot up.

Right I absolutely agree with the last few posts. What will it cost me to fight and what do I stand to gain? It probably isn't worth it and they know that which is why they say no. If you look closely at that option picture the doors to the play room are ever so slightly dashed. I never noticed that until they pointed it out 3 days ago when I asked about the doors. But that's the issue. Options should be clearly communicated. There should be no question about it. Also, I never received a door and window schedule which would have been an opportunity for them to communicate it wasn't standard early in the process. To whoever asked. Yes we got the raised ceiling and we went for the picket rails (nothing on that one step though), but atleast they indicate that is an option. The playroom is an option and the flex room is standard, just without the doors. The raised ceiling is clearly indicated on the option drawings as optional just like the flex room double doors are. Not so clear on the playroom double doors. Would filing a complaint with the builders association accomplish anything? Or is that a joke like the better business bureau? I think they are now punishing me for even challenging them on this. They have moved my closing to one day after my rate lock expires (coincidence?). So that costs me another $500. They overall are still early, but told me early November that closing would be December 12th so I got a 30 day lock to the 15tth. They slipped 14 days and just now tacked on another 2 days. I get delays but they shouldn't tell me in early December they can't meet the 12 and have to slip it to the end of the month. I've told them several times I'm in no rush to close. I have the Powersteps Slimtech. It is a 3/4" insole so it just fits into my tennis shoes without having to take anything out. I also have Birkenstock insoles - the trim line. I can't remember the name, but they have two kinds - a slim one for flats and such and then another with more of a heel. I have had a severe bout of Plantar Fasciitis. I have been suffering since the fall. I have gone to a podiatrist, massage therapist, physical therapist. I had tennis shoes fitted at a running store - they sell the SuperFeet, but said the Powersteps I have are also a good brand. My husband had tennis shoes fitted there as well and they sold him Superfeet. It has helped with some back issues he was having - as you said above, your local running store has both - important to get the right size to fit your arch. Good luck.

I haven’t. I can do that. Or just put it in the drum. But it’s just not right that Miele is sending out defective machines. It’s similar to false advertising when you say your product can do something and it doesn’t. They should be held accountable. They exchanged my WWH860 for a WXI860 that has similar issues! I don’t understand. Does Miele not test these models prior to rolling them out to the public? As I had indicated, we know they don’t proofread the user manuals as there are very many errors listed. How can a company whose motto is Immer besser, allow these errors and irregularities to exist and still roll the products out to the public?

jerseygirl -- Free range hens are not kept cooped up, away from where wild birds can pass along bird flu. An egg producer south of Chicago lost their whole flock of free range hens to bird flu. The couple said they will restock and stop feeding their flock out of doors, to avoid attracting wild birds. We usually have eggs for breadfast twice a weeek. My DGM had soft boiled eggs on toast every morning, and oatmeal -- not as a poor immigrant off the boat from Glasgow in the 19th century, but for the rest of her life. I'm reminded of Angela's Ashes, where the charity hospital doctor told the author's DM she'd be fine if she would just eat an egg a day -- something wildly beyond their means.

I have an HP computer running XP Professional...forgot to mention that.

I took Nero out of startup by going to start - misconfig - startup and unchecking it there....it is still unchecked.

I restarted my computer and all was well....I was notified that I had used misconfig to change settings and I clicked to not show me that again.

All was well with the restart and I was doing e-mail...the message popped up again in the middle of the e-mail I was writing.

Then, I went back to check and make sure it still wasn't checked in my startup...is it called something besides Nero there? I unchecked Nero....

NmBgMonitor.exe and NMFirstStart.exe which can hog system resources.

Both entries are related to Nero.

What version of nero do you have?

Unless the software is antivirus or firewall software, we always recommend against background tasks that check for software updates. They typically slow down boot-up times, often generating errors during the boot-up process, slowing down your Internet connection, particularly if you are on dial-up rather than broadband, and the worst behaved ones install software without your knowledge, potentially creating conflicts. In the case of HPWUSCHD2 we have seen it occasionally crash on boot-up on some PCs. Most importantly, if your printer works fine and without problems, there is no need to fix what does not need fixing through the installation of the latest drivers whenever you are prompted to ! Only update your drivers when you actually have problems that need fixing - to do that, navigate to HP through our Drivers page. Delete this task immediately on the Startups tab.
