Oct. yard sales finds.

Probably about the last of them for this season. The plates are Genevieve Lethu and were $1.00 each, thought they were good fall colors. The bell cloche was $5.00, the gold baskets were .50 & the gold grapes were $1.00, thought they would all go good with xmas table in golds & white. The blue napkins were $1.00.

The lemon filled bottles were $2.00 each will go good with my lemon/lime table in spring or summer. The tall candle holders were $4.00 each, big one price on bottom was $29.99 and smaller one $22.99. The aqua & lime runner, napkins, napkin holders & candles, all of them for $13.00 and all brand new with tags on them.

The brown vase with fall foliage was also $4.00.

Wohoo, the mother lode. Great finds! I don't want to add going to yard sales to my list of addictions...bad enough in the stores!

I used to do that- purchase all sorts of things for others. They graciously accepted them, but I really don't know if they wanted it or not. I have finally come to the place where I feel that the right person will get the 'item'- if it's at a garage sale, like the blue bottles- the person behind me, or maybe in a few hours will stumble on them and be estatic to buy them! or if they end up at a thrift shop- again, the right person will find them. it has allowed a lot of peace to enter my life!

Looks like a minnow bucket & coal carrier. I have some of those urn looking plastic planters. They last pretty well, I've had them 3-4 years & haven't broken or cracked yet, would last better painted tho. Mine are white. They had green & color you have also at the 99 cent store. Didn't see them this year. Love your long 1/2 barrel thing too at back of pic. Wipe the metal down with alcohol before you paint it & try not to touch it except on handles so when it is dry from alcohol, it will keep paint on. Jan

WOW !!! Seems to me like you did just fine. LOVE, LOVE the green leafy plates...wish I could find some of those around here. And, the green dragonfly plate is wonderful...love it on the plate flower. I don't know about cutting off the handles on the red cups....wonder if it would leave a hole. Don't really know. They would also make cute wind chime thingies....you know the ones that someone made on here that had the beads hanging from them that looked like water pouring out. Great idea to make the doggie a coat from an old coat....Iggy looks like he's going to really like it! TFS~

Oh you lucky gal! What a great find and great price.. I see you set up a cute display already, and what fun it will be creating new ones. Someone posted one of those last Christmas, but it was made from discarded windows and they set it up like a Toy Store at Christmas...really cute. I think what you found is even better because you can set it up anywhere... Now I'm looking forward to seeing what you do... jane

Wow, great deals again. Those candleholders are gorgeous, and candles in the stores are getting so expensive. Love the teal runners and napkins. You're gonna have lots of fun using all of your finds. Luvs

You're still the Queen it seems. I haven't done yard sales yet. Tho heaven knows you sure tempt me to. I am shy about it for some reason, and no one to go with. Plus all the trouble I can get into at GW, dollar stores, and Michaels....the last thing I need is to start yard saling.
It would help if occasionally I could purge some things.
But every time I even think about it, I come here and get that notion knocked right out of my head.
Hopeless, just hopeless.
