Greetings,
I can't believe I'm back here asking for dishwasher advice again. My Kitchenaid Architect Series dishwasher is only 4 years old and I need to replace it already (sigh).
I'm trying to decide between a Miele Inspira or the Optima. I really hate to pay for a water softener when I already have a whole house model. In looking at the Optima's other features, I didn't see any I thought made it worth an extra $500 but I'm not really sure. I'm especially curious about the AutoSensor and SensorDry functions. I'm also wondering if the advanced basket configuration and split cutlery tray is really much better than the standard configurations. Finally, I'm wondering if the digital display is really useful or just nice to have.
Any advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
