I agree, UV fade is an issue. I'm an old vintage postcards dealer. Fade of these collectibles would be a shame. Why not use a UV protection similar to what windows use? There's got to be a UV protection film out there that could be used as a cover. Also, if the postcards are scanned, it wouldn't be hard to replace the rose images each year with fresh ones that aren't faded. This would also protect the original postcard. We completely understand why you had to do this. :oD I've been researching horticulture careers, even though I don't have a degree in it. Why? Because all I think about is plants and planting from February to September. So I've been looking at ads just to see if a living wage can be made, and then I have to write letters to admonish the companies about their use of traditional fertilizers and pest controls. So even if I got a 4-year-degree, these companies will already have a folder on me in their nutso section! Waaaaahhh!

Awww...man! Those are neat! I just can't help wondering how the story of Charley and Olive ended. I hope they married, had children and lived a happy life. Wish you could locate some of their family but "Charley" isn't a whole lot to work with, is it!? LOL Enjoy - they are beautiful!
