Toto Eco Drake
Comments (4)I wanted to install a Toto Drake and ordered that from my local plumbing store. I had a family member pick up the toilet and realized when I got it home that it was an Eco Drake (the tank specifies that it is an Eco Drake, though the bowl is universal). When I tried to exchange the tank for a Drake, my plumbing store told me that Toto is phasing out the Drake and that they could not get a Drake tank anymore. I ended up installing the EcoDrake tank, though I had the plumbing store modify it with a different flapper that should allow more water through. So far I have been very pleased with the toilet. You might be able to do something similar: order the EcoDrake and if you're not pleased with the function replace the flapper. I was also told that holding the handle down a little longer than normal will also allow additional water in the flush....See MoreToilet Seat Alternative for Toto Drake?
Comments (4)Actually most if not all elongated toilet seats are standardized to fit any elongated toilet. If you have a conventional round bowl it will take the standard round style seat. If you are unsure, Toto makes a full line of seats other than the one that comes on the drake. From what Ive seen online the common complaint about the Drake seat is that it is thin and contemporary and has a tendency to make you feel as if you are sliding backwards when seated on it. We have 2 Toto Ultramax styled toilets and the original seats were very different from the one on a Drake. I just recently replaced one with a Toto Washlet and its great....See MoreAmerican Champion 4 vs Toto Eco Drake
Comments (4)Got to *looove* the Drake. I've had mine for 4 months. I constantly marvel that it works so well, given the low-flush action. Yet it dispatches everything. Occasionally I use the hold-down long flush, but that's infrequent. Streaks are rare and seem to resolve themselves. Quite a decently sized target zone. :)...See Moretoto aquia vs. kohler saile toilet
Comments (1)My experience has been that the TOTO toilets are hard to beat. I dont have experience with that TOTO model but with the TOTO Drake and it is wonderful. I did some quick internet price search and actually found to TOTO for less money than the Kohler which surprises me because TOTO is known to be expensive....See MoreRick M
