Paint? Stain? DIY Vanity project - Plus Bathroom Preview

Our downstairs bathroom is actually getting close to where I could install the vanity so I actually have to dust it off and finish it. The background is that we found an old sink on craigslist, had it refinished at an auto-body place and I built a custom cabinet for it.

Here's the cabinet with the sink dry fitted on and temporary knobs on the tipouts.

Now that we're close I'm not sure what to do about the vanity. I had planned to paint it Martha Stewart Living Mourning Dove and leave the knobs stained walnut.

But now that the bathroom is painted... I'm having second thoughts. The bathroom is a creamy yellow color. The floor will be white painted wood. Would I be better off staining the whole vanity?

Bad lighting on the paint color.

Better example of the color with tile in the shower before grout.

The tile in the shower (before paint on the walls and no grout)

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
