I have the same problem. The edges all curled up and shrunk. I took my little tiny iron that I use for quilting and flattened the edges down . They diddidn't cover all the way but I put a little super glue to hold them diwn.down. then took drawer in to home depot and had them match paint. Then painted the part that wasn't covered. Its It's not perfect but looks better. Not only the drawers but the sides of the cabinets. I will take the drawers out but can't the cabinets when I clean my oven. I guess I won't be buying these type is cabinets in the

Dear Petunia, I am sorry no one has posted an answer to your question about removing the tile. I wish had an answer, but I don't. I expect people are kind of daunted by the thought of trying to get both the added-on tiles plus the grout and adhesive off the tile you want to keep. It's also possible that the tile was covered up for a reason that won't be apparent until you uncover it. Have you tried a few test removals to see what happens? That's what I'd do. You might also post this question over in the kitchen forum. There are a couple of tile experts that haunt that place. There is also a tile workers forum, that I have heard referred to as the John Bridge forum. Never had a tile question myself, but I'd go there if I did. Try googling for John Bridge (a tile supplier, I think) and see if you can locate their discussion area. I've heard only good comments about the discussion forums. As I recall, the Cristalli was the smaller 2 1/2" by 5" (I think). Mine is an old house, and I wanted a more traditional size like the Tiffany. We ended up using Mapei grout in the biscuit color, which in theory is slightly darker than the biscuit color tile I installed. It, of course, dried quite a bit lighter than the samples and the color chart would have indicated. But, it will be fine and I am not going the route of trying to use a grout enhancer to bring back the color it was when wet (a color I would have preferred).

Thanks HB! I went to the Kohler store last week and looked at the sample chips. I like the way it looks, kind of like porcelain. Anyway I ordered it. Crossing my fingers it will look good installed and DH will like it as well (he didn't get to see the sample). Mimipadv, it's funny but white tile is kind of outside my comfort zone! I generally prefer color. But we're going to do white tile, mix of square and subway, with an iridescent glass accent. We fell in love with Saturnia Gold granite, which is black with lots of mica and gold specks, so we wanted to have a simple backdrop that would show off the granite. Good luck with your project!
