Garden feet #2
Comments (31)I had to tippy toe around some seedlings today to prune back an aggressive dogwood bush. I was in bare feet..I find I'm much less likely to step on something, and I was in my "best" i.e. well groomed bed. I use the closed toe crocs (no holes) most of the time, keeps the dirt out. I bought a dollar store spin toothbrush, and used it for my home-grown pedicure. Amazing how it cleaned up under the nails and the cuticles. (I also didn't have to reach so far down ;o)..amazing how your feet get further away from your hands as you age!). Just be sure to pack the brush away with the nail polish & pumice stone! Wouldn't want it to be used for anything else!...See More'Coasters' on feet of W&D?
Comments (1)When i used to work on rental apartments, for the laundry rooms with vynal flooring we always cut a peice of plywood for the washer & dryer to sit on. Saved a lot of money on vynal replacing. Have also done the same for stoves and fridges in kitchens with vynal flooring. Not sure anyone would want to do that in their own home. Seems using the furniture gliders would let the washer "walk" during the spin cycle....See MoreEeww! guest w/Athlete's Feet swam in my pool - how to clean?
Comments (7)Athlete's foot is caused by a parasitic fungus and is a communicable disease. It is typically transmitted in moist environments where people walk barefoot, such as showers, bath houses, and locker rooms. It can also be transmitted by sharing footwear with an infected person, or less commonly, by sharing towels with an infected person. ItÂs not the pool water, assuming your chlorine levels are ok it was the damp pool deck that should have been the concern. Don't worry its treatable and at one time or another most males will get/have it. Ask you husband, he may have had it shared a shower with you and you never knew it. ItÂs not passed on 100% of the time due to normal contact...See MoreRubber feet on Kohler sink protector are staining sink
Comments (20)@StarCraft Custom Builders - I have to admit I love the look of the apron farmhouse sink. I used to have the Shaw Rohl fireclay but not sure what happened, maybe installer over tightened the flange, but crazing were visible everywhere, drove me nuts. So I decided to try the Kohler Whitehaven and so far I have been loving it except for those white feet yellow staining the white sink. I see some scratches from the edges of the grid moving and rubbing against the corners but not as bad as the crazing that my Shaw sink had. Do you have any other recommendation for farmhouse sink that is cast iron?...See Moregraywings123
