I decided to try container gardening this year and planted 20 or so tomato plants in containers with miracle grow garden soil. They were beautiful and grew quickly. One day I saw the leaves were being eaten. There were worms about 1/2 to 1 inch long and about the size of pencil lead and are gray to black and are found on the underside of the leaf. I came to your site and found someone mixed 1 qt water, dish liquid(1 tesp.) and hot sauce. I sprayed it on the plants only where the leaves showed signs of damage which were at the bottom of the bush. I also picked off the worms that I could find. There were over a hundred. The next day, they were gone from the where I had sprayed but were highter up on the bushes where I did not pray, so if you try this, spray the whole bush real well. I also made the mistake of placing the pots close together so it made it easy for the worms to go from bush to bush. I have 2 bushes that are not with the others and they have no worms. I used tabasco sauce in my water. I know it has vinegar in it, but so far it has not damaged the plants. I go out each morning and afternoon to pick off the worms. I only found 3 today.

I agree, they messed up. However, to fix this would require ripping out the entire thing and this small remodel project has already spanned over three months. We’re ready to be done with the whole experience, not drag it out for another three months. We’ve already negotiated discounts to the final project cost based on issues with the shower, so while I’m not 100% happy with the shower, it is something that we can live with. It’s functional and we realize that our space was challenging to work with. The pan is solid everywhere except this one corner and the water drains properly. The entire shower enclosure was a sloppy install from a cosmetic standpoint, there is no way that I would want the same plumber to redo it. We are very happy with how the rest of the bathroom turned out, the shower is the only problematic area. It’s annoying but not worth the hassle of forcing the contractor to rip it all out and start over, especially if we can level the threshold enough to install the shower door. All of the weight is supported by the walls and crossbar, I just need a level surface to rest the skinny little threshold piece on top of to guide the doors and have them open/close properly.

Hi all - does this grout look too low? It’s tough on my feet in both of my newly renovated bathrooms. Seems like tiles are uneven in some spots. Grout is level with one tile then low on the one next to it. Any recommendations on how to fix?

It's so upsetting to spend the money and get an outcome like this. How long has yours been drying for?
