Karen, your DD is so sweet to make you go shopping early.haha Your St Pat's signs are so cute. The Easter egg plate is beautiful and I love the place card holders. But I must say those purple eggs are to die for. Just love the color of them. Are they plaster, wood, plastic or what? I have alot of the eggs from Walmart that DH drilled holes in the tops so I can fill with water and place out in the washed rock for decorating.

Bunny eggs are adorable and the little chick looks like I feel some days at the end.LOL Bet it's really pretty with the glitter. The rooster, bird and lamb look like what my friend brought me yesterday. I said they were wood but when I went to move them discovered they are clay.

What a great group of polar bears you have and I'll bet they will look great at Christmas. I don't think I told all of you but I went to Dollar Tree awhile back and they still had cardinals and I bought some. I was thrilled that I found them.

Hope you don't hurt to bad tomorrow and will be able to do some decorating. First you have to take down all the ST Pat's huh? Easter is just to close and we best get busy if we want to be ready. Sure enjoyed seeing your goodies and thanks for sharing. Enough said best move on!

Karen, I hope your little birthday shopping trip took your mind of your pain for awhile. You sure got some wonderful things! The St. Pat's things are great (I'd love the "wee bit Irish" one since I am a "wee bit") I really like that deviled egg plate and agree it will make a perfect display in a vignette. The little lamb and birdie are my favs!

Punk, I haven't a clue what those purple eggs are made of.
They almost feel like a foam covering something solid, hard to describe. The eggs are not squishable, just they feel soft to touch.
If these are the same ones Frou has in her basket outside,
she might know.

WOW! You can stretch a $20 bill! What wonderful finds! Those glittery cks are just TOO CUTE!...I've seen them in the gifts shops! I like those decoupaged (?) bunny eggs also!

Your DT animals are so versatile that you'll be having them out for lots of vignettes! (don't pack that bird away, PM!) LOL!

Well Karen, that shopping marathon ought to have fixed you right up, one way or the other.... It sure looks like it was worth it. My goodness, what wonderful things. That chick is precious, I love that glittery covered stuff, but rarely find it around here. The egg plate is cool too.
My giant eggs are just hard blow-molded plastic that are hollow. They are about 16 inches long. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

You found some neat treasures, love the eggs and that sweet little chick, I'll be watching for them in your pics of Easter decorating. Those big eggs make me think "dinosaur"--only because of little GD and her enjoyment of "Bigfoot" in the cartoon/movie. LOL I'm loving all these pretty pastel colors--bet Frou is too! ;o)

Your loot looks really good! The polar bears are very cute. All your easter stuff is cute too - especially the eggs with different bunny scenes on them. Love the platter you got - it would be beautiful displayed on its own. Those egg holders are so detailed it would be a shame to load them with eggs in the first place. :)

Mo, that's how I feel about the pretty egg plate. Too pretty to cover up with real eggs. By the way, I am really sorry you are having anxiety issues about your husband's trip. Anxiety is terrible to deal with. I hope maybe you can talk yourself into some decorating, it truly helps to stay occupied. Plus being surrounded by pretty things and a festive looks helps one's mood too I believe.
I know nights make anxiety far worse, and I will be thinking about you. You can join the slumber party here that Yacht and I usually do. LOL. We don't sleep at night due to pain, so our computers keep us going.

Jeanne, I didn't stretch $20. LOL. Wish I had. I can never seem to get out of Dollar Tree for less than $20, that is why I changed its name to reflect that. I think this time they got me for $23. And trust me, you don't want to know my Michaels bill. LOL. Dad gave me $100 to spend and I had no problem at all doing that between the two stores yesterday. They are side by side, so I frequently refer to them as "Double Trouble".

I've had it since my brother suddenly died and it's worsened in recent years if triggered , though I can usually manage it but this has struck me on a whole different level than normal. I hate the thought of flying to the point it's almost paralyzing and not at all comfortable with DH being that far away from home.
You are definatly right, nighttime is horrendous and sleep becomes nothing more than wishful thinking.
I'll be alright though :).
So sorry your pain strikes at night to. That seems to be its' waking hour, or at least that's how my back is (disc issues).
I'm really going to force myself into doing something in the decorating dept. I can't sit still and pity myself long so managed going to the basement and tinkered with pulling out a few things this evening but that was as far as I got. Small steps....
Something will get put together, even if it's not as creative as I would like.

Punk, I have no idea about decoupaging those eggs. Maybe I'll just apply stickers to them instead. Right now I'm trying to haul out my decorations and praying I can get done this weekend...so I have time to actually enjoy my 'hard' work. Wish things didn't take me so long to do now, I long for the days when I was fast. LOL.
Had to laugh you thinking the chick had a cane...but when I looked at his first photo again, I see why.
