I like the yellow tulips. I would remove the yellow paper, or pull it down, or tuck it in somehow so the tulips show better. Maybe even place them in a bowl of some sort???

Mona, I like the yellow tulips better also. And I also like the green votives at each placesetting. Your placecards with the shamrocks are just perfect. And, I like the St Paddy's Day sign on the table. Everything looks wonderful!

Mona, both settings look really pretty. The cabbage bowls look great with your pewter plates. Love you pitcher too. I just know everyone is going to love your pretty table and the meal. Relax and have a great time, you have a beautiful home, and your table looks wonderful. ;o) Luvs

Both look great Mona, I was thinking the flower color didn't speak Irish to me but I do like them because they really draw my eye to your tablesettings. I also like the tulips and it you got rid of the wrap could you put them in the pots the flowers are in? Either way you really have done a wonderful job ....enjoy your meal and those you are eating with. Kareen

Mona, Yes, I like the yellow tulips in the one large container. It's perfect with your pewter dishes. And I forgot to say earlier that I love the cabbage bowls with the pewter.

I love your tablescape, very pretty & I also like the last picture the best, thought the pink tulips were almost reddish toned & gave it a Christmasy look with the green.

Mona - I love your table. I've been away, and missed the all of the gals' new things:(. I love your pewter.

I collect pewter and am forever having a time of it trying to make it work. Your table is gorgeous and I like both the red (I am a red person) as well as the yellow flowers. Either look great to me. Great Job!!!!!

I am in a twist now since I will be hosting Easter dinner, and I will be trying to make the pewter work for Easter. I am going to post some pics with a question on another thread.

You kept tweaking it and came out with the perfect tablescape! Way to go. I thought they were all very pretty, but agree the last one is perfection. Hugs and a big pat on the back for you Mona. ;o) Luvs

You tablescape came out very pretty, I, too like the yellow tulips in the container best. The green cabbage bowls and voltive candles gave just enough green to the St. Paddys day look. I love the contrast of the crystal goblet and the pewter goblet. And last but not least your home in itself is very lovely.

I love the end result with the tulips in the large container. Hope you had a great party!

This was the final tablescape for the evening. My guests were soooooo impressed because it was more elaborate than I usually have waiting for them. I, of course, gave you ladies much credit for inspiring me. The bad thing is that now they expect me to have the table set in this manner for the next dinner.

You bet they will expect it! The pressure! Once I decided not to serve soup, which I usually do, amd I sensed the disappointment! So start planning now, cause it will have to be as good or better the next time!
