Lifting the mirrors and the strong punch of color is brilliant. The feathery effect of the light fixtures are the perfect softening touch! Just beautiful as usual, giacomo. I'm thinking you must have a very trusted team of master tradesfolk, yes? The quality of finishes and workmanship is always so high on rooms you design.

The "waterfall" tile behind the tub is brilliant. Did you come up with that or did a tile company (say, Sicis or Bisazza)? Love the off-center tub filler matched to the opening in the tile as well.

So clean, crisp and timeless this looks good today and will look good in 20 years. Really nicely done. Exactly the look and feel I am trying to achieve in my own bath. Did you make the cabinet yourself? That rosewood is beautiful. Could you give us more info on materials used? Very nice, thank you for posting it.

the story is... an architect send to me a woman that she was looking to find a contemporary cabinet to go with her terrazzo floor.
I'm a interior architect that design and sell only italian products...so..
we have a meeting and after see the terrazzo and understand
what she was looking I suggest the cabinet and the glass top.
then I suggest to don't use the terrazzo in the shower and I suggest the tiles.
She show me the freestanding shower and we decide to have a more impact choosing a decor tiles behind the tub.
Finally was the faucets and the lights.

In this case the installation was done not from my guys but I was there almost every day to make sure everything was done MY WAY! :-) ... but in the end they make some little mistakes (for example the outlets are not even and other little things.)

Flyleft the "waterfall" is exactly from a picture of the tile company.. I was lucky enough to have a great client that understand modern and clean design in this Midwest town called Chicago. :-)

So maybe the unusual color palette came from the terrazzo -- because that cinnamon-tone is a color I don't see too often in the 'modern' idiom. All your choices hang so well together, as always...

And Chicago isn't just any midwestern town, but I'm sure you know that! Chicago *is* modernism, in a lot of ways. Except for the cold, I'd love to live there, just for the design :)

flyleft Chicago is a wonderful city.. is probably because 80% of the people want products, (kitchens, bath in wood) and I prefer lacquer finish.
looks like lacquer finish are more appreciate on both coast like NY or San Fransciso.

yes chloe, is all one piece of glass with 2 sinks.
In that case brown color, slick design and also easy to keep clean because also the faucets are wall mounted.

Like everyone else, I love it. It truly took my breath away. You are truly truly a rare talent.

I have been trying to decide between granite and quartz, and haven't been totally happy with either. Your glass is exactly the look I have been wanting, but didn't know how to describe.

Now I need to find out how much of a splurge it will be to get a glass vanity with integrated sinks. Where does one start looking when trying to find someone to fabricate a similar sink/countertop?
