Anyone have Walker Zanger tile? Can't find pricing...
Comments (20)Not sure if it's the same color or just similar. They have a pale gray that's really great and a pale beige (impossible to tell what's what online -- their repro is awful). Some of those have a halo effect, which is not my personal preference. It makes a beautiful floor for a bath which won't get a lot of daily traffic. Expect you've seen the herringbone marble mo with the color dots, another favorite. The one I linked above is good for an entry or a large room as it's rather dark and Vic'y but it's really stunning....See MoreWalker Zanger ceramic tile backsplash? Anyone have one ....
Comments (5)I have Walker Zanger Gramercy Park in Bone China with dark grout. I love them but will tell you that when the arrived the tiles were a little less crackly than the samples from the store (that had been made many years previously). I was disappointed at first but I am real quite happy now. I looked at so many tiles and kept coming back to these....See MoreRevisiting My Backsplash Dilemma:Question About WZ Gramercy Park
Comments (12)I have to have one. I've been advised that the heat from the Viking range is a danger hazard for one thing (believe me, it is!). The two back burners are hardly used at this point because of that. And it gets really dirty back there which is hard to keep up with on paint. Also, I've already noticed since it being painted that behind the sink area you can see splash marks, etc. and worse, some small nicks in the paint from the faucet handle (we had to adjust it's placement due having to bring in the wall while in construction). So I really do need something which I can wash down easily and to hide some errors in the wall too. There are several little things which went wrong in my renovation so having tile would make a world of difference to hide them. It's one of the things in the kitchen which makes me batty although it seems I'm the only one who notices them!...See MoreMoving on to walter zanger backsplash
Comments (22)Thanks so much for all the input, I've changed by mind a dozen thousand times, and now the kitchen cabinet designer suggested a plan I like except I am afraid the Alhambra won't match the cabinets well enough. He suggests the alhambra 4x4 in a diamond shape throughout and then the detailed one (less busy of the 2) in a square under each pair of cabinets"about 8 in all with one above the oven. I'm wondering if I shouldn't do Sonoma Stellar collection, which would match the cabinets and still the granite and is less rustic; they also have detailed ones in the same color to match, but they take 7 weeks or so to order... thanks so much; my DH (does this mean dear husband?) wants to start asap!!! Thought I'd made my mind up already...!...See Moreajinnh
