New Fiberglass Tub - preventing cracks

I recently had a new Lyons Fiberglass tub installed. It's a deep soaker tub with a water heater built in.

Now, after it is installed, I'm reading a lot of horror stories about tubs developing cracks.

My installer followed the manufactures instructions - he leveled the floor before install and he used construction adhesive on the feet under the tub.

BUT - Now I'm wondering if I should (or can) pump mortar in under the tub to support the bottom. Because of the heater pump the tub has a large service access door on the apron.

So what do you think, would that be wise? Is it even doable?
