Me and My Sweet Babu table

This is my last Valentine's table.

I created this one in the sunroom on my round table, but this time I just set it for the two of us.

The red tree gets some DT hearts, I used Valentine M & M's scattered on the table, and some TS heart plates on top of my TS red banded plates.

I also used photos on my DH and me together.

The red flutes and the swirl goblets are TS. I bought the flatware last fall at Ross.

This is the only Valentine table that DH said was a really

pretty table. Do you think it is because his picture is on there?? LOL

SWEET, candy! Love that you used your fav photos on this table! So CUTE! The M&M's make wonderful confetti! Your R&W shout VALENTINE-Y...& your place settings are so pretty...love those top plates w/the single heart motif. The stemware is very lovely along w/your faux roses & mini-roses on the doily. I have good news and bad news. Good news is that there was an eyewitness account of how Bill got the grape from Univ of Arkansas. Also, good news is that I didn't get overly specific with a lot of details related to me. I am so glad I didn't write down on the internet everything I was told, from what I thought was a very authoritative source! I include the link below to a poster called LonRom, and he is the eyewitness. Bad news is, that my info in 2008 is apparently grossly in error. I will chalk it up to medication side-effects, old age, failing memory, and maybe one too many apricot brandies when swapping war stories. Bill died about 5 years after I met him. Thanks you guys! I'm so sorry.. I really thought I was in another forum.....So wonderful to to hear all the nice messages from all of you! I saved the new carpet, incase we sell in the next few years...that helped with hubby a little bit! gottagarden.........Please post those pics of your daughters room!! I and others would love to see it! it's tough when you can't post for you friends here, with the restrictions! I screwed up, and it was ok! please post them! Anglecub....wish we could do some shopping!! Love to shop! haha.... design....build and shop!!!!! Hubby keeps saying "go to school, and spend other peoples money with your redo's".........more fun for me right now when it's for me!hahhaha Friend...you crack me up!!I got lucky......didn't really happen till like last year....he was a pain too. Today I stopped at a service station to buy a 20 lb. bag of ice. A young man behind me, also bought a bag of ice. I got to the ice storage thing first, but I have no strength in my "good" hand since I broke my wrist, and my other hand has always been bad since I injured it when I was a child. I was struggling to pick up a bag of ice and he asked me if I would like him to carry it to my car. I said, "No, I can carry it, but I would appreciate it if you would pick it up for me so I can get a grip on it." He did, and again, offered to carry it to my car. I thanked him very much for being so kind, but told him I could carry it. (I try to use my hand as much as I can.) I thought it was very, very nice of him.

Thanks for the nice feedback, everyone! I did indeed email the photos to my inlaws, who in turn forwarded them and my thanks on to Jay, the very nice man who gave me the table. I'm glad that the hiking sticks don't look too out of place where they're at. See? I told you they've served me well in some gorgeous places: :-) Littledog, I'll have to take a photo of that painting. I found it tucked away in a corner of a booth at an antique mall. There's an adobe house with that flowering tree out front, and it reminds me very much of some wonderful places I've seen in New Mexico.

Candy such a lovely setting in your Sunroom - with all the reds and touches of white.
I love the fact that you used photos of you and your
'sweetie'...which makes the table even more special!
Those stems and heart plates are the perfect touch and I love the look of the M&Ms!

Candy, How nice that you set a romantic table for you and your DH. Everything looks perfect, especially the pictures of the two of you. The M&Ms are just the right touch. you two look perfect together. You are lovely and he is handsome. have a wonderful Valentines Dinner.

I think your hubby liked that you made up a special table just for the 2 of you with special meaning from the photos. Means to him you are still the "girl" he married & can still be romantic & a little fun too with the M&Ms. My guy would have given me a big kiss as soon as he saw it, if I had done that for him. It's nice you got a guy that likes some romance! Enjoy your dinner! Jan

What a beautiful table. Bet you can't wait to sit down and enjoy the evening together.
I really like the thrift shop heart plates. Wouldn't mind having a set for myself.
The M&Ms are a great idea. I just might have to copy that one.

Very pretty table and what a great looking couple too! The red tree makes a nice cp, and I like the unique shape of the glasses. The heart design plates are perfect for Valentine's Day. Great job. Luvs

Thanks everyone.
I just finished moving that table decor to a card table in front of the fireplace for tonight. It sticks out into the family room, so it is a temporary placement, but thought that was a better location as the sunroom is not heated, BRRRR. That would put a "chill" on the romance.
Hubby got to select the menu, and he chose his favorite: meatloaf. Oh well, its what he likes!

This is actually one table we are going to eat on.
We eat in front of the TV most of the time.

A very beautiful table indeed. I like the red flutes and swirl glasses from the thrift store. I love your sunroom, but the fire did sound more romantic. All your pix are so sweet and what a great couple y'all make.
