Arizona shower doors
Comments (1)We bought a framed shower door from Arizona Shower Doors in 2006. It was not an optimal experience. The fellow who took our order did not write down the address correctly. This caused a lot of confusion when the measuring was scheduled. The measurer did not call us when he went to the wrong address. He just left. A customer service rep. agreed to come and do the measuring after his shift when we called to complain that someone had stayed home to accommodate the measuring. The first installer did a bad job and didn't bring all of the door hardware. They scheduled a second installer to remove and reinstall the door and complete the installation of the door hardware. When the rubber sweep started ripping after a couple of years, they did give us a free replacement but would not supply us with teeny new screws to replace the ones that were stripped when we removed the old sweep. Water gets trapped in the frame. We're remodeling the shower and will install a new frameless shower door next month. We're going with Diamond Glass & Mirror this time around. I guess our experience was not an isolated one. AZ Shower Doors currently has a D rating on Angies List....See Moreshower curtain vs. door and what type?
Comments (11)Actually this is my hall bathroom. It does not have a bathtub, only a shower. I was told by someone in the past to switch to a bath/tub combo, it's cheaper. But I mainly use the shower to bathe my small doggies, so I don't want a bathtub in there (leaning over is a literal pain). In a way a door would force doggies to stay in there with me. This is a small opening (about 57 inches, so don't know what could designs could be done with the door. The main things are I want the tile to be seen, not obscured, I want to keep teh outside as dry as possible, I want not too much work keeping stuff clean. Also the toilet is very close to the shower....See MoreAquaglide applied on Starphire glass by hand?
Comments (4)He is incorrect. PPG Showerguard is called "Ultra White" which is the crystal clear Showerguard for Low Iron or Starphire Glass. He may be referring to an aftermarket product as he may have already ordered the glass and does not want to eat it but he is 100% wrong on his statement....See MoreDIY bathroom reno finally complete! Comments (43)Just one side note, it was mostly DIY- all of the plumbing and tub installation was done by a plumber. And the plaster walls were resurfaced by a professional. They were pretty bad after removing the tile. And my husband wanted plaster not Sheetrock....See Morededtired
