It’s called an outdoor grill, where you won’t have 15K invested in the required *ventilation* to not choke everyone out and have black walls from the smoke and grease.

I hadn't been any place to check, spoiled girl. DH keeps my car filled for me (old habit, I had liked to be prepared for a family emergency in either Seattle or Portland and wanted to be able to get either place and back again without stopping) I did note this week when driving by the native american pumps where he often goes that regular gas was $4.49/gal. I couldn't speak to how quickly it went up, or if it has dropped at all. With him retired now, I'm only occasionally taking my car out. He often drives for me and prefers to drive his truck. His retirement gift and its as nice inside as any car with leather heated and cooled seats. The mileage of course isn't as good as my SUV, but if he's more comfortable driving it in freeway traffic, I'll fit whatever comes up into the budget.

The model number should be under the right burner bowl frame. I recall them discontinuing that open burner design as much as 15 years ago [although they've recently reintroduced it]. So I doubt that the 8-year estimate is accurate. Ideally, the seller would remove the burner bowl frame and take a picture of the model/serial tag. Once you have the serial tag you could contact Viking/Middleby and they should be able to tell you how old it is. I prefer the open burner design over their modern sealed burners: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSINGp9XegI I'd see if they'd be willing to take between $1200-$1500 for it 🤷‍♂️

My cars don’t require premium and I planned to keep them long term so I use Ethanol free. It is much easier to fill up now that our Wawas usually have at least two banks of pumps with ethanol free. It is slightly higher priced than premium but it is also a slightly lower octane. I paid about $4.20 at Wawa last week. From memory the range is $3.90-4.30 lately. Carol, I was told by many people (mechanics and boaters) that the ethanol is degrading the life of some of the components. The boats (outboards mostly) and lawn care industry noticed it first and now there are many more options for fuel. It costs a lot more at the marinas, but that is location, location, location I think. There is also a big difference between high octane ethanol free race fuel and the stuff for the lawn mowers and cars that we get at Wawa. ETA: I forgot to mention the best part. DH’s last Telsa and current Tesla come with free super charging. We road trip in his car for free! Yay! Around here thery seem to be adding Super chargers to the Wawa gas stations where needed.
