Glad you're having finger sandwiches, cheese and fruit. My girlfriend has a party each Christmas which features nothing but sweets. I like a little sweet stuff now and then, but this is replete w/ chocolate fountain, chocolate martinis, cosmopolitans and trays of marvelous pastries. Nothing savory at all! It gives me a headache to think of it even now. My strategy the last couple of years is to eat before I go, and nibble on something seriously divine and maybe grab a strawberry or two from the chocolate fountain set-up. If there was just a little tray of sandwiches, I'd be happy.

I made this cake today and it was really good!!! The pant sizes are going up if I don't stop this. :0) LOL OREO� White Chocolate Mousse Cake Prep Time: 25 min Total Time: 6 hr 25 min Makes: 16 servings 1 pkg. (20 oz.) Holiday OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, divided 6 Tbsp. butter, melted 1 env. KNOX Unflavored Gelatine 1-1/4 cups milk 1 pkg. (11 oz.) white chocolate chips 1 pt. (2 cups) whipping cream, whipped FINELY crush 24 of the cookies. Mix with butter; press firmly onto bottom and 1 inch up side of 9-inch springform pan. Set aside. Coarsely chop 24 of the remaining cookies; set aside. SPRINKLE gelatin over milk in large saucepan; let stand 1 min. Cook on low heat 3 min. or until gelatin is completely dissolved, stirring constantly. Add chocolate chips; cook until chips are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently. Place saucepan in bowl of ice water; let stand 8 to 10 min. or until gelatin mixture is slightly thickened, stirring frequently. Gently stir in chopped cookies and the whipped cream. Spoon into crust. REFRIGERATE at least 6 hours. Halve remaining cookies. Arrange on top of cake just before serving. Store leftover cake in refrigerator.

Kid-friendly mousse: (basically divide the amount of "milk" on the package directions by 2 and split to your preferences. Since this is a large box pudding, 3 cups is divided) 1.5(+) c heavy cream 1.5(-) c milk 1 (large) package jello instant chocolate fudge pudding Whip, whip, whip. Divide. Eat plain or Top with ground oreos, mini chocolate chips, or whatever you have on hand (sprinkles are popular around here).
