This thread did not die because my google search uncovered it today. I have a 3 week old KitchenAid French door fridge (model no. KRFC302ESS) on which the painter managed to leave a small scratch. Stupidly, I used the rough side of a kitchen scrubber sponge (the rough side is plastic not steel or wire) to try to rub the scratch out. The scratch is gone and in its place is a 2" square RUB MARK that looks like hell and is visible from every angle and in every light. I called my dealer, salesperson, kitchen designer, installer and finally Kitchen Aid and the only thing I've found out is the only thing KitchenAid recommends is Affresh cleaner with a microfiber cloth. I've ordered some but doubt it will buff out the rub mark. The other option is to buy a new door ($537 and back-ordered). The second I buy that new door, I will scuff/dent/ruin it even worse in some other unintended way, so that is not an option. I'm going to put a decorative fridge magnet over it for now. My whole kitchen is brand new after 11 weeks of hell, so this rub mark just really tweaks me at present, but my aggravation will probably fade as time passes and I do worse things to other things in my brand new $$$ kitchen.

You mean the Ruvati Roma sink RVH8350? The RVC model is a bundle of the same sink with a Ruvati faucet. Yes, Ruvati sinks are exceptional quality. I have been using a Ruvati Gravena sink for almost 3 years now. Solid sink: very heavy and thick. I don't have the Roma model with ledges for accessories, but for $469 thats a great deal for a 16 gauge sink with built-in cutting board and colander. Quality-wise Ruvati sinks are just as good as any major stainless steel sink brand like Kohler or Elkay.

yeah, it's super important to see a fridge in real life so you can get a feel for it. our house came with a brand new samsung, and I hate it. no matter how you arrange the shelves, you can't even fit something as common as a basic brita pitcher. so now our door caddies are crammed and other tall things are inconveniently laid on their side. the deli drawer is weirdly flat. the giant veggie bins waste space (even for us-- we buy a lot of produce). the french doors have to be slammed shut. the freezer drawer doesn't pull all the way out unless you use brute force. I mean, you really have to violently rip it out or otherwise it only pulls out about a foot. ugh. these are all weird things that I didn't even know were a problem until we owned this fridge. Hopefully the design of a Bosch is much better than that!
