You should proceed by finding an NWFA certified inspector in your area and paying him to do an inspection. Unless you know the moisture level in the air and wood, and things like nailing schedule, any opinion on what's wrong or how to remedy is strictly a wild guess.

I suspect when you say your floor is buckling all over, you mean it's cupping and I also suspect you have solid strand Bamboo, which is highly likely to cup. Cupping occurs when boards take a concave appearance with the middle of each board lower than the middle. Buckling is when boards rise up off of the floor like a pup tent. What kind of Bamboo do you have?

Lynn, I'm so sorry. I can kind of relate. At 18 my sweet nephew didn't have his seat belt on either when he was a passenger in a vehicle. They had a wreck and my nephew was thrown through the passenger window. To this day I don't know how that's possible. He was in a coma for six months, and if you're familiar with comas, the longer someone is in one, the worse off they'll be. My nephew is an adult now but because of the extreme bad temper the head trauma caused, he has to live in an apartment type home with other head trauma patients in a different city than his family. I've always thought his accident took my brother to an early grave. A seatbelt would have spared him and his family such pain.
