For those in the West - how did you fare in the storms?

We did surprisingly well considering 110+ mph winds. We finished the roof framing and plywood thursday as the wind started to pick up and the snow started to fall. We tarped the roof and called it a day. We got less snow than expected at a little over 18 inches.

Tarps do not enjoy high winds and we got wet again. That was the worst of it.

I feel lucky, we are in a small community of around 3000 folks. I know of 3 houses that lost shingles and two that had trees land on them. We were lucky to have tarps no longer in use to help one of the tree victims out.

Weather looks good after thursday this week and our roof will go on next week and we will start our siding if the weather holds up (hopefully!).

How did everyone else do?
