I use Weiman SS Cleaner & Polish or Pledge in the brown can...both do a great job of removing all sorts of smudges/spots. They also appear to "repel" future fingerprints...at least I don't seem to get very many for a couple of weeks after using them. I find that other than wiping off spots from cooking, I only have to wipe down my SS appliances to get rid of fingerprints every 2 or 3 weeks... The DW needs much more frequent cleaning, though, since it gets water spots/streaks from dishes. I'm not sure I'd use BKF unless I had actual scratches on it...or if nothing else works.

Glad you take time to not butcher up your wiring but you're over-thinking it just a bit. It is not the electrician's responsibility to worry about incompetent people working in the future. Most professional electricians wire multi-gang switch boxes with often even 3 or more circuits in one box and if a clueless person decided to take it all apart without labeling the connections, they could wind up with 240 dead shorts, lights using wrong neutrals... All of that would be their own fault. Capping off the white is better in this scenario. Some electricians chose to label cables in the boxes, you could take a 2 inch piece of romex sheath and slip it over the black, red, and white wires and label it "garage light, breaker ##" As far as inspectors, it is difficult for them to have enough time to check for 14 and 12 wire on a same circuit, make sure the kitchen has the correct circuits, see if romex through bored holes is atleat 1&1/4" from the face of the stud, much less for them to do a complete circuit analysis. Having dead ended wires in a box is nothing that would surprise them. Happens all the time with wire for a ceiling fan that ends up not using the red or switch loops wired to have an automation switch that requires a white neutral. If normal switches are used, the whites would be capped off for future use. G

I have the problem of carbon building up quickly on the sparkplug. Can anyone tell me what causes this and how to prevent it or at least slow it down so I'm not continually cleaning it or replacing the spark plug during one season of mowing. I was once told that it's a problem with the fuel being too rich. I use the premium fuel; I do not use ethanol fuel in the mower.

Me too gls! Ok. Been thinking 🤔. Here’s a new twist on Miss K’s layout. The BIG new idea with Option 5 is to put her desk at foot of the bed! I put small stool or chair there but you could get a desk chair that doubles as a reading/guest chair (far left corner) to provide both options with minimal use of floor space. All the other furniture pieces are merely for basic sizing. It will all depend on budget and what we can find out in the markets! I think you can get a 48” wide x 24-48” desk which would be quite nice for laptop and papers and book or two. Enjoy.
