Hopefully this works. I have two baths we just finished. The master is Daltile Brancacci with the resin chair rail and floral listello Fastfloors.com had this for 1/2 the price as special order from home depot. You have to call them though after you get your order set up to fix any shipping issues (they do each type of tile as a seperate order so shipping looks much worse than it really is until you call them). The other is our kids bath with 4 1/4" plain white tile and 2" cobalt blue glass from mirage tile. Note that the glass tile is thicker so you will have to put down more thinset behind the remaining tile and the grout joints around the glass will be larger due to difference in tile sizes. I have small guest/second bath and every part of me wants to rip out the small tub/shower and replace it with a walk in shower. I don't take baths, I am sure none of my guests will take baths. However, I have decided to eliminate the bath in the master, so I think I forced to leave the bath in the second bathroom. As much as I hate it, it's going to have to stay I guess so the home has at least one for re-sale. The other part of that is that if I ever did have a friend with kids visiting, they do need a bath for the little ones. If I had all the money in the world and was planning to die in the home and never sell I would not bother keeping any bath tubs at all!

Your bathroom is lovely. And I agree it looks very clean and crisp. The look I am going for is traditional or old world elegant. Again, I am only replacing the vanity, counter and sinks, and lighting as well as wall color and window treatments. I am also considering replacing the shower doors with new, borderless ones. The colors shown (gold and burgundy) are in the adjoining master bedroom. I would prefer NOT to match the bedroom paint but of course need to compliment. Any ideas are appreciated.
