Danger w/propane tankless and seal-tight insulation?

We are building a 2-level "raised cottage" home--1st floor is 9' above ground. Plan to use the spray-in foam insulation that from all research so far, is virtually air-tite. Will do the floor really well, also, b/c is completely exposed (is the ceiling to ground floor outside space. If I ever figure out how to post a picture, will do so. 2 propane tankless water heaters already installed. We're starting to worry about the dangers of a gas leak, since there will be no place for dissipation.

In December we lost four friends when one of their homes exploded from a natural gas leak in a sealed space under the house. This just occurred to us; probably irrationally scared.

Thanks,

L and P
