My grandma eats sweets including homemade pies with 1-2 c sugar per pie, loves sweets in general, eats too many fried foods for my taste, doesn’t eat paint chips, bathes in a porcelain tub, and was JUST moved to a nursing facility this year since she’s losing her mobility (mind is still intact) and in another month she will be celebrating her 100th birthday. You don’t have to live in a bubble to live a long life. Much of your life expectancy is predetermined in large part by genetics. Use common sense and don’t lick the bathtub.

Hi mh_bath, I wasn't entirely sure you are asking me, but since mine is the only pic that shows the horizontal overflow, I'm going to guess yes, so here's the answer: The overall length is 6'3". I am not sure whether using the horozontal overflow (rather than some other design) increases the depth or not... but it's a really nice deep soak. You can check specs for water depth; I do recall that this tub had a deeper maximum fill than many others I looked at. We set ours in a mud bed for stability and insulated all around it and it's wonderful... very solid feeling and keeps the water warm a looooooong time :)

In my area, hardly anybody cooks in their chef kitchen because everybody is too busy. OP renovates for resale, i.e. bang for the buck, which isn't necessarily primarily for functionality.

I am remodeling a bathroom that I believe is stuck in either the 70s or 80. There is tub with jets that has a deck so big that I can barely get in. I want to get rid of the deck around the tub and put some tile. I also want to refinish the tub because it is currently a biscuit or almond color. My contractor wants me to replace altogether. I have no idea how old the tub is but since I don't take baths so I don't want to invest in expensive tub. My husband likes the jets but neither of us bath frequently. I were to buy and new tub would like recommendations about a jetted tub not to wide but comfortable. I never think they are that comfortable.
