Anybody Recognize this Crystal?

My grandmother has a weakness for bargains, and an eye for a particular kind of style. Her own condo is jam packed already with her finds from over the years, so now she sometimes buys things as gifts for me. About 10 years ago she picked these up for me at an estate sale.

In case it's not visible from the photo, the curve of the bowl is a little tighter at the bottom and then flares out wider partway up. There is a thin gold band around the base, and a plain thick gold band at the rim with a thinner band just beneath it. The stem is smooth with no facets and has a bulge near where it meets the bowl.

Any idea who made these and when? I appreciate any ideas.

Don't know who made them....but they sure would be a wonderful companion to that old china pattern called wedding ring, variously made by CFH and Herchenruther.
Judging by the size and shape of the wine and how very well they go with that popular china pattern, I would guess they date around 1910 or so.
Sorry, I have no idea who made them. You might send a picture to Replacements.

I had poked around on Replacements trying to see if anything looked similar. The closest I had seen were some Tiffin glasses from the 40's, but they all seemed to have designs stamped into the gold rims and I think the stems were faceted as well. I just sent an email to replacements now to see if they recognize these.

I don't think it's Platycodon; I love balloon flowers and I'd remember that I'd planted it there if that were it. A local nursery identified it generically as a weed, and one with a long root. They said to dig deep to get it out. I'd still like to know what it is; now that I'm aware of it , I see it all over, so it probably is a weed. Perhaps I'll let one go and post again when it's bigger.

It is either Swanstone, Syn-Mar or an acrylic type product (provided by companies like Bath Fitters, Luxury Bath). We have been looking to re-do our 2 bathrooms, both have the fiberglass one piece bisque color units, one is a shower stall & the other has a tub. We want the walls to the ceiling which I think gives it a beautiful complete look not mention very easy maintenance, hence no mildew or mold on the sheet rock. A lot to pick from, hard part do want the tile look, the subway tile is very popular or do want more the marble color design look.

Replacements tells me this is the "Golden" pattern from Avitra. Thanks for suggesting I ask them!

They didn't give me a date. I don't suppose they're still made, but yeah, I think we're looking at the 70's or so. Not really an antique, but at least I know what to call them now!

I would vote for the 70's. I got some very similar stuff for a wedding gift. I also had a large punch bowl and cups with the same type of gold banding.
