You should start by getting yourself properly sized. You can do that by going to the finer department stores or if you're not too large breasted go to Victoria's Secret and they have people there that can properly measure what size bra you should be wearing. It sounds like you're not wearing the right size bra for you. It sounds like it's too big around you but maybe the cup size is too small. I got properly measured last year after watching Oprah Winfrey's show and they said that a huge percentage of women are wearing the wrong size bra. Well . . . I was wearing a 42 DD to get the cup size but like you I was constantly pulling on it because it was coming up on me because around my torso it was way too big for me. I ended up being a 38 DDD and I bought a Wacoal bra (believe me it's difficult to find 38DDD bras so your choices are not vast but I'm happy to report that the Wacoal bra is a wonderful bra to be "stuck" having to buy). I love my Wacoal bras and don't even try any other brands now. They fit wonderfully and what a difference it makes when you're wearing the right size bra for you. It's like day and night difference. Take my advice and treat yourself.

There are a few clues that tell you if you aren't wearing the right size. The first is that the band should be at the same height front and back and not slip up at the back. If it slides up in back, the band size is too big. The underwire should sit flat againt your chest too. It the band is digging in or pulling away from your chest wall in the center, then the cup size is too small. I wouldn't recommend VS as they are quite limited in their size range and I have heard of too many people being given the wrong size because they don't carry the right one for the individual. Try to find a small boutique style store. They usually carry a broader range of products.
