Those bra strap things
Comments (23)I have the same problem with the straps. My solution came from hancock with the strap that goes from one strap to the other. Have to admit, its not fun trying to get bra on when I use the strap. Now this may be more information than you need, I went to a bra fitting. First let me tell you, I am 5 feet tall and weigh between 105 and 107 on a given day. This was not a pretty site. She had me in this band that felt like a metal chain , and I will not go into detail. Thought I didn't have any fat on my body. I looked in the mirror and you would have thought I weighed 207, it was cutting into my skin. I ask could I go up a band size, She said oh no, that would not fit properly. I wear lots of my hand knit sweaters, so I knew for sure I could not wear my hand knits with all that fat flapping in the wind. I have watched many of the fitters on what not to wear, and they always seem to help the ladies find a fit that doesn't choke them to death....See Morebra strap holder thingie
Comments (3)I sent for some but they didn't work out What I did was take a piece of elastic You can figure out how long to cut it for your body I safety pinned it to each side of the bra strap in back about 5 inches up from the back clousures. The only problem is you have to put the bra on closed and over your head. It takes getting used to. they are now selling some kind of plastic thing on tv maybe tht will work for you try my method if it works you can sew he elastic to the back straps instead of pinning it....See MoreRandom Fashion Questions - Shoulders, Collars & ___ (add yours!)
Comments (38)Well.. I put the white sleeveless top on this morning and while a taupe bra worked better than the lavender, I could see my belly button. I am going to return it. I don't want a summer shirt that requires a tank underneath... especially not for the price. Mtn, I love your picks! I would also "tough it out" and skip a coat or wrap with the OTS jackets. I really love the summer tweed jacket.. and the sequin jacket! Both are so adaptable!...See MoreOK...I am a man and I just don't know.
Comments (65)When I was a young girl working i a large office I loved it when the women walked by and i could sense the special perfume that they wore. Of course a fragrance may be too much for some because smell is the most primitive and intense sense we have. For awhile I had the most boring job in the world, coding page after page of gas meter reading books. I'd fall asleep and the only thing that helped was a splash of water in the face and to reapply some perfume. I never overdid the perfume thing, I am sure. When my husband said he didn't like perfume I gave it up. Imagine this -- about twenty years later he commented on a lovely perfume a friend was wearing!!! This was no attraction, no romance. I wasn't a bit jealous. But at that moment I felt that I had cheated myself out of the pleasure of scent -- for myself!...See More- 20 years ago
