Our daughter (now 14 months) had the same problem. Both her father and I have/had food allergies and sensitive skin. So we had three different rashes. All looked the same - tiny, red bumps. The first I attributed to her bath products. She was using Mustela. I switched to Aveeno products and also found a brand called "Pure Baby" which makes an eczema therapy bubble bath and a moisture cream. As soon as she gets out of the bath I put on her Aveeno Baby Lotion and the rash went away. At six months she had peas for the first time and broke out in a rash, we stopped peas and went back to rice cereal only and the rash went away. At about seven months she developed a bumpy rash and had cold and flu like symptoms and our ped. also thought that it might be a virus just like imdymom9901 had. It eventually went away, but it took awhile. She hasn't had a problem since. Good Luck

Whirlpool tubs are not supposed to be used with bubble bath, but air jet tubs can. Our bain ultra came with some samples and I've since ordered more. They publish a "wellness guide" that includes a page of what essential oils are supposed to do as well as other bath additives such as tea or algae. They also say, re essential oils: For maximum benefits Only 8 to 15 drops of essential oil are enough for a regular bath. To ensure even dispersion in the water, mix the essence with a teaspoon of one of the following emulsifiers: powdered milk, shampoo, honey, vegetable oil, or liquid soap. Don’t forget • Essential oils are very concentrated. Avoid all contact with the eyes. In case of contact, immediately rinse with vegetable or mineral oil. • Avoid adding essential oils to the bath directly; always mix it with an emulsifier first. Undiluted drops of essential oil tend to stick to the acrylic surface of the tub, where they can actually affect the finish.

Retin-A has been shown to thicken skin and address sun damage. They (users) say it takes months to see the difference, but one day you take a closer look and realize that your skin looks better. It doesn't add plumpness back, though. I'm 48 and am tossing around the idea of starting it. It has studies to back up the claims and the side effects can be minimized by careful administration. For now, I use a hydration-focused regimen on my face, neck, chest and my hands get whatever is left over. That and sunscreen have made a pretty big difference since I started in addressing aging last January. I use hydration/occlusive creams or lotions after showering and put sunscreen on everyday so, I'm not ignoring the other parts. The upper third just gets "special" attention!

I found any french mill soap or gel bar works well. Not much of a face make up gal. No reason, pretty even skin tones here. Never cared to cover the freckles. My father was having a heck of a time in his 60's with random itching. Dermatologist suggested he not shower daily and if he needed to, avoid soap of any kind on a daily basis. FF 20 years, I am almost there but took the Docs words to heart. So my face gets washed with the same soap as in my shower which at the moment is a french mill generic. Itching/drying can be brutal with some brands. Ivory was our mainstay growing up but at about 25 it was apparent it was too harsh for my "aging" skin. LOL!! I wouldn't touch anything by Johnson and Johnson. Years ago when taking new baby classes we were told of the fallacy of their "no tears" soap and then the baby powder law suit. Thank the Lord I believed the nurses and not the commercials on these items!!! Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on ME. Never going there!!!
