I've been researching solid surface shower walls I can do myself. I've found a ton of info on Swanstone but the colors are not that great. In my search I came across a new product called "ciencia" made by American Standard. I was only able to find manufacturers info on it and there is one post in the Remodel forum here asking bascially the same question I am.... has anyone seen this? How does it compare to Corian, Swanstone, etc? It seems to be an acrylic composite of some sort. The shower bases don't look that great to me, some sort of acrylic covered foam core. But I'd probably match this with a swanstone base. The Ciencia has a version with a tile pattern in the material which is an attractive option. Sorry to post here as well but I think this is a better forum for answers.
