One in the morning here and as I'm trying to figure out how operate all the cool features on my new car, I'm thinking "what the heck have I gotten myself into?" The Microsoft Sync and Navigation/touch screen etc is much more complicated than my computer :o IT'S ROCKET SCIENCE! I'm too old this! (sigh)

We have 2 Ultramax toilets. One elongated ADA and one standard round height. Neither with Sanagloss. During my research, the Sanagloss findings (is it worth it or not)were inconclusive. However, the majority of what I read about ADA height was that there should be at least one in a house. I discovered (too late) that not all ADA height toilets are the same height. I'm 5' and DH is 5'8". His ADA Ultramax is uncomfortably tall for me and a little tall (for his liking). The flush is louder than our old Kohler toilets but a much shorter flush time. No plungers needed and no 2nd flush needed. There is more surface area to clean in the elongated ADA bowl.

I have 2 ADA elongated Toto Ultramax with the sanagloss and love them. I am a guy (thus the man in faucetman) 6'4" and disabled so obviously they are more of a necessity for me than most folks. But from the basic points of water saving (mine are 1.6 gpf) easy to keep clean (Im a bachelor)they are especially nice and I have a world of guests who comment on the comfort height of the ADA, including my best friends wife who is 4'11". In my 59 years before getting these I never had anyone come out of the bathroom talking about the toilet. Additionally I have a washlet on one of them and its quite a conversation piece for folks also..LOL not all Toto's come with the sanagloss below is the link to the specific one I have because another thread today had determined that there was no such animal

well, i ended my toilet thinking about midnight... what a group we are!
i could only seem to find the Drake 2 with sanagloss and ada. i'm only 5' so need to measure about that height. it's not something i'll be getting anytime soon tho. probably at least not til next yr now.
i think another one had those things but was listed as commercial w/ loud flush - that was probably on the TL site.

At least Monica is working on her new car features! I hate to be the "toilet pioneer" but I promise that if I decide to brave one of the new Drake 2s, I will report back on the results. Seems that there are Drake 2s with Emax (like the old Gmax) and ones without it as well. It's making me think that in order to get the good flushing mechanism that was what made the old Drake's well-rated, that you need to get the EcoDrake and not just a regular Drake. Not sure about the Ultramax, but I bet you need to get an EcoUltramax too. All I know is that I'm so tired of not having a downstairs bathroom anymore! By the way, I did try out one of the display models at a store and it didn't seem high at all. Now I'm wondering if they were using the soft close seat on it!

The Ultramax ADA with sanagloss is Toto catalog #MS854114ELG . Sorry, I read and contribute to over 30 forums per day and write my blog and not only got the link wrong while answering some else's question about a wax ring but also had looked the catalog number up incorrectly. Hopefully I have all the corrections in place and I apologize for any inconvenience.
