Hi KC! That's my old stompin' grounds. The one on the left is a green frog (Rana clamitans melanota). The one on thr right is a leopard frog, but whether Northern (Rana pipiens) or Southern (Rana utricularia) is hard to tell. Both of the frogs pictured appear to be moving northward from their original habitats as the climate undergoes warming.

The left frog is a Bull frog not a green frog, Green frogs have two lateral lines down their back, bull frogs don't. Bull frogs are predators of most other frogs, so don't introduce them if they aren't already there. Most tadpoles sold in aquatic plant/fish places are bull frog tadpoles.

I raise both of these. The one on the left is a Green Tree Frog, the one on the right is a Leopard Frog. The Tree Frog also has a cousin called the Red Eye Tree Frog which I also raise.
