worst tomato season ever in the pnw

This has been such a disgusting growing season! All of June was gray, cloudy, and under 65 degrees. I swear I could see the tomato seedlings shivering. The sun didn't come out until after 4th of July. It stayed unseasonably cool with a few bursts of hot weather. Now we've had heavy rains starting on Labor Day weekend. This is the first year I've actually had tomatoes MOLD on the vine! Even my Sungolds suffered- I'm lucky if I even got 30 ripe ones so far from 2 plants! I spent the afternoon pulling out the plants that were really bad, picking all the large green tomatoes to see if they might ripen by a miracle (there's no blush on any of them), and leaving a few out because we're supposed to have some sun tomorrow (but only 65 degrees). I sure hope next year is better....
