You were very busy & it all looks great. Frogs are so cute, love the iron chicken in the basket! Do I get that with fries? (I miss the "Purple Cow" a drive-in that my hubby & I always went to when he took me back to college Sun. nights. We loved their food & malts- took our kids there years later & not so good- maybe being"newly" in love made the food taste better. Oh, they had chicken in a basket with fries(think it was them) Brookings,) So. Dak. Hope you have more nice days so you can work outside more. I'm just managing to keep all the stuff I planted watered & my dad's flower garden.3 bros flew in for dad's 95th birthday & their 70th anniversary tomorrow great surprise, dad liked seeing what I had done along side of house but it isn't filling in very fast as been so hot. hope it rains this weekend. Jan

Lol, I will stop coloring too when it all gets one color. I just have this big black patch in the back. They found something on the cat scan last night they need to do an MRI and get a closer look at it near the pituitary gland in his brain. I have been so worried I am exhausted. I couldn't even tell what I was trying to say in that last post. He is still very tired too. I hope we can still go this weekend but waiting to hear from the doctor if its ok or not and see how we are both feeling. He is in denial of course and outside working in the heat so I am watching him close and making him come in for breaks and drink water. I think he had heat exhaustion He passed out and had a siezure. Sure wish the ER doctor had told me more before she ran off and left. My sister's daughter in Georgia just had a baby and they had to remove her gallbladder this morning so she might be able to come either. Whats that song about if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all? Lol, things will get better. Just soooo tired.

Thank you Karyn. I knew you would know some of them, lol. I bet you will know the others when they bloom. Maybe it will be something I can share. Poor Daniella. I know how you feel about the dog. I have gotten BB where she will leave most of my stuff alone as long as I don't leave her outside by herself too long. I will post pics and be back on more later. My sister has to leave tomorrow so I have been spending as much time as possible with her. Morgan, My daughter has been glued to the computer reading Iniasha cartoon scripts for 3 days. I have to make that girl get outside with me. My sister and I have been taking care of the flower beds and they are looking so good I hate for her to leave. She has been a big help to me. She gets up early so she waters in the morning and then we run around all day and I water what has dried out in the evenings again. Something has bitten or hacked off all the leaves on my clump of amaryllis. I bet John did it thinking it looked Yellow. He doesn't realize you have to let them die back before you cut them off. I am going to teach him about all these plants yet, lol. Gotta get to bed so we can get up really early in the morning and dig up a few more things for her to take home. We just loaded her car and all the stuff we got and there are empty spots so I'm sure I can fit some more plants in there, lol. I love her so much. She is really special and it has been so good to have somebody here with me that enjoys plants as much as I do. I will probably regret it later since I am sunburnt to a crisp since we got into some big fish right when we planned to leave the lake and ended up fishing from 6am til 3pm. She was so white I let her use my sun screen so she wouldn't be hurting driving back tomorrow and I got roasted. I bet it blisters and I look like a leper by tomorrow. Yuck. Well I 'll be around tomorrow I hope I dont have to go to work. I am dead tired and still have to get her a few more things together. If it wasn't for Mom living with her I would talk her into moving here. She loves it here. Night everyone. I'll post pics when the plants bloom that I didn't know what they are.

Very nice pixs of frogs n' toads, earlybird! I love our native amphibs here. Oh, and I have a frog story to share.... I had one of those hideous Cuban frogs get into my bedroom one night about two weeks ago. There was a small gap in the screen frame (fixed now) and he somehow squeezed in. I was woken to the sound of a thud on my wall, another thud on the second wall, and then "SPLAT!!!" the little !#$*!!! jumped to the ceiling, missed, and landed on ME. I shall not share the location of the landing zone. *G* This was about one in the morning. I was NOT amused. At all. My cats were going nuts, but I managed to grab the pasty white ghost frog, go out into the back yard barefooted, whereby I almost immediately stepped in dog poop. I flung the hideous thing like a major league outfielder and it landed in the middle of the lake. I hope the fish pecked at him for a really lonnnnnggggg time. Oh I do hate those evil things. When I was down south working for the vet in Jensen Beach we used to tell people to put them (both Cuban and Bufo) in a freezer bag and freeze them to death, so that might be an option for the more squeamish.
