Boy the flowerbed Lucy Lou likes sure is filled in like crazy. Just as everything else. Your brugs are growing real fast there and you got a bloom already! WOW

Did you make your froggies a new home? Don't tell me they became parents?

Kristy, I'll be in Rockport then, its 17 miles from Rockport to Aransas Pass, and then about another 10 miles to Port Aransas over the ferry, and then about 6 miles to Mustang Island, total about 32 miles. We always drive down to Mustang Island when we are down, we like to just listen to the waves, and drink beer. I hope you get to come by. Send me an email if you think you can make it down to Rockport, and I will get with you, and don't forget to bring dirt, I have pots. If you are coming down IH35 to Aransas Pass, and have time, take the Ingelside exit, and drive down the street in front of Lowes, go down about 6 miles and on the left you will run into Johnson's Nursery, she usually has alot of unusual plants, and they may still be marked down. Hope to see you, October is the best month to catch fish at the coast. Gary was just asked to go on a free fishing trip next weekend, but he hurt his shoulder, we have an appt. tomorrow morning with a surgeon, he is hoping the doctor will be able to just give him a shot, and make the pain go away. Thanks for the comments :) The blue feathered/wierd one has only put out about 8 flowers so far and 3 didn't even open all the way. I haven't been able to get any seeds so far from it either so hopefully I will get some before it freezes or I will have to try to root cuttings and overwinter in the house. The blue in the photo is a little darker than real life because my camera wants to make all the blue hues more purplish for some reason. The phillipine violets are more blue than purple too. Both our cats look like Halloween cats lol. We have the black one and one that is white, black, and orange calico with long hair. Shawn the plants I won on BGI are: Freckles (It has a green on green variegated foilage-just can't see it that good yet cuz it is so little), The other two are named yet but he is planning to register them. One of the others has a orange almost bronze flower, and the other one is a whitish cream flower, I think, that is a really spectacular bloomer. They are babies of the hybridizer Fred Sommers. kylie, that could be a deficiency-who knows, there is a mother plant and another normal pup in the same pot that are very healthy maybe they are hogging all the nutrients. I just think that pup is so wierd regardless lol~growing really slow too, only grew @ 3 inches all summer. I should separate it in the spring and see what happens. Jim, you get much hotter than us here but I know that MGs grow in hot climates and reseed themselves to the point they become invasive. I just let mine climb wild up other tall plants like the brugs and other vines. Some of the newer varieties don't seem to produce as many seeds so might not be as invasive. I don't have that many exotic types yet- but there are some really strange ones out there now-look at ebay lol.

Thanks the pictures are precious. I will miss them. They disappeared after the 1st cold front and now came back out. My dw told me a few months how they always ride to work with her. She now has to make a trip around the car to shoo them off. I am amazed at the number I have here in just a few months. There is one on almost every plant that is not in the sun. I can hear them singing at night. When I spray I have to do it while the sun is up and be careful and no pesticides. Maybe Santa will have me a macro capable camera this year. Keep those frog pictures coming. I may need a frog fix soon if it cools down much more. Jim

Great photos Kristy! So how many frogs do you have now? I like your do; is it easy to wash and wear? Don't lose any more weight, or, you will disappear. We don't want that to happen :-)

Hey, Kristy--- wow, are you a looker!! Like the hair and you are looking downright bodascious!!! LOL!! Very nice!

What cute froggies- I didn't know you had them as pets- we just have the outdoor ones we are trying to keep the cats from eating!

Miss Behavin, it says it all in the name!! Isn't great to have some brugs blooming again? How is her perfume?
Dr. Suess just joined my other bloomers, yesterday.
And my lilies are on the verge of bustin' out in blossoms. I just love those bright colors of the Asiatics- hey, I don't have that color! I will have to send you some photos when mine bloom- maybe we can trade after they are done for the season.

Thank you all I sure was feeling like mis behavin that night but alas it didn't happen, lol. Once I can color it I'll like it better but John added a few new grey hairs to my head so now I can do them all at once, lol. Very easy to fix and went I want to fix it nice its easy too. I felt pretty that night with my short little black dress. We all need a night like that every now and then I guess. I love my frogs I have 2 fire belly toads I bought to teach polly to eat and then John a few more in out of the pond so we can watch them transform. They are fun to watch. Well I'm exhausted and been at the hospital with John all day so I better get to bed. He had to back tomorrow for more tests.

Kristy your breaks you get , of being carefree, are sure far and scarce. I hope John is going to be fine so your family reunion is going to be a happy one for all!

Your hair looks great. I used to have mine like that & it was easy to take care of. I'm not a hair person & I have left it grow long so now I just pull it back into a ponytail & go. I'm coloring one more time for my 35th class reunion & then I'm letting the gray grow out. I'll probably look like I have a skunk stripe on my head. LOL

Lol, I will stop coloring too when it all gets one color. I just have this big black patch in the back. They found something on the cat scan last night they need to do an MRI and get a closer look at it near the pituitary gland in his brain. I have been so worried I am exhausted. I couldn't even tell what I was trying to say in that last post. He is still very tired too. I hope we can still go this weekend but waiting to hear from the doctor if its ok or not and see how we are both feeling. He is in denial of course and outside working in the heat so I am watching him close and making him come in for breaks and drink water. I think he had heat exhaustion He passed out and had a siezure. Sure wish the ER doctor had told me more before she ran off and left. My sister's daughter in Georgia just had a baby and they had to remove her gallbladder this morning so she might be able to come either. Whats that song about if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all? Lol, things will get better. Just soooo tired.

Just talked to the doctor and they said John's tests were all ok thank god so I can quit worrying. Thanks for you prayers.
