Mikes the bug is a wolly mealy bug. The plant is in a pot I assume.......maybe post in on the citrus forum as there are a lot of people there that grow in pots. I have 15 citrus in the ground and have never seen leaves do that so I would just be guessing at the cause. Here is a link that might be useful: Citrus forum

Medonto: I agree with all of Trudi's suggestions, but I have said on this forum the best marker is one from Lee Valley. I just removed some from my front bed today that have endured two winters and last summer and look as good as when I labeled them. I use pieces of plastic from fabric softener bottles, but they also work on popsicle sticks. You can remove the ink with acetone (nail polish remover) and re-use or keep them for annuals/toms/veggies which you sow every year. You could also use Trudi's idea and label on the underside. I did that my first year, but did not like the idea of having the lift the entire container up to see what was inside. Good luck with the ID's. Northerner.

Euphorbia on right is an easy one to ID, it is Euphorbia lactea. I have some of these also. There is a beautiful white form known as 'White Ghost' I hope to get one day. The one on the left, however, is problematical. There are so many similar looking species, nailing it down is difficult. I have this one also, and have seen it identified as E. ammak, E. ingens, and others. There are a few Euphorbiacs on this forum who may be able to help you further with this one. Christopher

Jim, look at those lovely back legs, which are perfectly suited to jumping. That should be your primary visual clue to the identity of this little thing. ;-) If you google katydid nymph, you'll see lots of images that match this one. dicot, katydids are rarely present in enough numbers to do much damage (they chew the foliage). They are also a favorite food for such predators as spiders, mantids, dragonflies, assassin bugs, birds, lizards, etc. I'd leave it....looks like somebodies lunch, to me.
