Ellie, you remember that aversion I have to yellow flowers with red or burgundy eyes? Well, now you see how I feel about Pinebelt Explosion. And I'm going to have a GROVE of it pretty soon! CC looks pretty, but I'm not trading my Marietta bonus for it! Then again, I'll see how much I like Motown Blues after it blooms. If it's ugly, then I'm open to a trade! Seriously, we'll have to swap exchange lists again later.

YaYa, I'm so sorry, Dale sounds like he was a great guy! Special thoughts going out to you and your family.

I just realized I called "Burma," by "Rhonda's" name several times in my first posting. It was Burma that stayed a couple months with us, and Burma that went on the hunting trips, and Burma that worried Harry to distraction just for the fun of it, and Burma that was the challenging, alph, puppy locked in a 90-lb. body. She's a sweetie. I've told my cousin we'll keep her any and every time she needs a babysitter. Masha travels, a lot, and she commented on how "happy" Burma was after spending time with us. She was frisky, with good hair and attitude; the total opposite of how she is after being in a kennel. We really hated to see her go, but Masha assured me that she'll be back for any extended trips. I wish Rhonda could come back, too. She was quiet and calm and gentle. Too gentle, almost. She was so terrified of loud noises. She's doing good with her "grandma" in PA; and she'll be joining her "mom" again in Florida in November.

I made the cookies today, I have done only 1/2 the batch, will finish tomorrow, but no problems. Could only use 3 c. of flour but maybe you sifted yours. I couldn't find the sting lic. so used chow mein noodles for the tails. I even put them on before baking. Dianne, what kind of shortening did you use? That could be the problem. Beverly, thanks for the inf. on the choc. cousins, it makes sence now that you explained. Jayne
