It's all one big happy family and I've met some of the people on it when I drove to TN in 2004 and 2005 for an annual get together when we were on another forum. Now that we're on this new one, I think that they want to get together in Missouri this year and I said I don't think I'll make it because TN was enough of a drive for me (about 1000 miles one way and it took me 3 days), as I can't stand driving more than 6-7 hours in a day). Anyway, it's a great bunch of people and you'll learn a lot there. We also talk about butterflies on there because I've been getting people over there into them too. :-) Some of them are raising them too. Not everyone likes to read about butterflies because they came there thinking it's strictly a birding website but the administrator doesn't care what we talk about basically. We show pet pictures, family pictures, it's just really a lot of fun, centered around birds but other things are enjoyed too and you won't get in trouble for posting other things of interest to you. I should know. If it were strict over there, I'd have gotten kicked off last year already for posting all my Monarch and other butterfly pictures. Ha. It's a My Family website and a different format than here. You go to that page and request a username and password and you will be sent one within two days. Hi Deanna That's growing up the downspout on top of the ivy that's covering it (you can see the ivy on the brick at the top of the picture) I recall that the only criticism that I heard about Perle was that it was slow to establish. That may be true to a degree but I have others that are a lot slower and have given me far fewer flowers. I just love the blooms on this. I waited too long to cut it back after this flush in June/early July (trying to force another round of blooms) I do have some regrowth on one stem and it has produce 6 new buds which just started opening this week. Your new growth is a good sign, I think. I think you made a good choice and I hope you enjoy it!

They sure have some pretty hummingbird feeders. I don't need any more this year, but I saved the link for later reference. A few weeks ago I asked about how to raise mealy worms. I don't know if that's what you are referring to or not. I buy mine at Wildbird's Unlimited. I buy about 2,000 at a time. They go pretty fast around here since the robins found them. I lowered the top on my worm feeder so only the bluebirds could get to it, but after seeing the robins going to a nest last year I raised it so they could feed their babies as well. A couple of days ago I saw a mocking bird getting worms. I thought about getting a larger supply at one time, but did not know how often to take the worms from the refrigerator and feed them or even what to feed them. I've learned a lot from this place.
