I like your haircut -- and hair color, too. If the cut is easy to take care of, that's the most important thing for me. Which is why I've worn my hair very short and "spiky" for the last two years. It really doesn't matter much if it's combed or not; one can't tell the difference, anyway! I just wet my fingers and run them thru my hair and I'm good to go!

Nelson, next time, get a dog. Interestingly, even though I can't detect a scent from my biflorum, if left outside it becomes covered in flies. Just because we can't detect a scent, it might well be extremely enticing to the-cat-who-used-to-be-Mimi. You may also want to entertain the possibility that the-cat-who-used-to-be-Mimi has fallen further into a deep psychological abyss brought on by your cavalier response to the role reversal you subjected him/her to at such a young, impressionable age and has become murderous. The-cat-who-used-to-be-Mimi should seriously consider pleading insanity. The earlier bed wetting may just have been a prelude to what is yet to come. Sleep with one eye open and don't leave small children alone with that cat.

I was told about a nursery in Norwalk, Ohio that sells all mini plants...lots of them....all kinds of minis. I've been thinking about a fairy garden so I went to check this place out. It's called Mulberry Creek Herb Farm. I found this shade loving fairy garden all ready made up that I liked, but it didn't have any hosta in it. So, I picked out a mini hosta, upgraded to this fairy that sits on the rock that I liked better than the one that the pot originally had, added the turtles on the rock and the gazing ball. I than went to TSC (Tractor Supply Co) for some vole killer and just couldn't resist a few of their miniture animals that I saw there. I bought the cute doe & fawn. Also, if you look closely to he left of the hosta, you'll see 3 little raccoons playing. My idea was to buy the pot, plants and figures, but when I got to the nursery I realized that I had no idea how I wanted to put a fairy garden together.(I'm not too visual, I guess) So, I got this already made one and added to it the way I wanted. These are the instructions that I was given: Bring it in the house this winter and put it a cool room with some light. Keep it moderately moist. Fertilize it every 2 weeks. Don't be shy about keeping the plants trimmed back..they're tough. BTW, the total cost of this was about $95.00 I think the smaller the figurines, the more they cost. lol

I, too, understand about the American Girl thing. My daughter has a trunk of beautiful clothes for her AG dolls, all purchased from her grandmother. I will *never* be the one to give any of this away or she will be posting one day about how she can't forgive ME! As for getting rid of husband's stuff...this is sort of along the same lines. My husband loves car races and has a favorite tee shirt he wears only when he attends a race. It's sponsored by Marlboro. Well, one day a telemarketer called and I picked up the phone (before caller I.D.!) and they wanted to do a survey on what kinds of cigarettes my husband smokes. Thoroughly disgusted, I exclaimed, "My husband has NEVER smoked." End of discussion. I was so proud of the fact that I ended THOSE phone calls. Awhile later my husband wondered why Marlboro wasn't sending him free racing tee-shirts and stuff anymore. Somehow we got on the conversation about that phone call and how I couldn't believe they thought he smoked. My husband looked at me with this incredulous look and said, "You didn't tell them I don't smoke, did you?" Yep. He was so upset and STILL is. Now they won't send him anything because they know the truth and he is still mad about it! So he has that one racing shirt that has little holes starting in the neckline but he refuses to part with it. And I definitely will *not* be the one to give away, considering I'm already in the doghouse about the other stuff! Sheryl
